The iconic Sofitel Grand Sopot, perched on the stunning Baltic coastline, has a new owner! Polish company Sinfam Investments has acquired the hotel from AccorInvest. However, Sofitel will continue as the managing operator of this neo-baroque, art déco gem. 💎 The transaction, facilitated by immo lab.re, underscores the revival of Poland’s hotel market. Established in 1927, the 126-room hotel underwent a significant transformation in 2008 to join the Sofitel family. Record-breaking transaction on the European office market❗❗❗ Ghelamco has sold the iconic Warsaw Unit skyscraper to Swedish real estate company Eastnine, marking Europe’s largest office deal in 2024. The 202-meter-high tower, offering nearly 60,000 sqm of office space, was sold for an impressive EUR 280 mln!💸 The transaction was made possible thanks to financing provided by Helaba and Erste Group. On Ghelamco's side, among the advisors in the transaction were: Dentons, Deloitte, MDDP, Rymarz Zdort Maruta and CBRE. Signal Capital Partners was the seller's pre-equity partner.
