Comprehensive service of multimodal military transports 🚢 🚛 🚆 is a permanent element of our offer. We carry out regular deliveries of military vehicles and weapon systems from South Korea to Europe🌍 So far, we have transported the following weapons: ➡️K2GF tanks, ➡️HOMAR-K artillery missile systems. In 2024, we delivered 56 tanks to Poland 🏗️ The transports were carried out on the basis of a contract for the purchase of weapons, which the Polish Ministry of National Defence signed with the Korean side. The recipient of the weapons was the Polish Army. We are very well prepared to carry out this type of tasks. 📌Record loading of cars onto a ship🚢 We are very pleased to inform that last weekend we brought the most cars on board a RO-RO ship in our history. It was a 100-meter-long vessel. It is assumed that such a ship can accommodate 850 vehicles. We loaded 857 of them. In this way, we broke our record, which was 855 units so far🚗🚗🚗 The loading was carried out using the head-out-stow method, which means that the cars were arranged in even rows and parked backwards🚘🚖 We would like to emphasize that breaking the record does not involve bending any rules or regulations. We have never taken risks in this matter and safety procedures have always been a priority⛔ So where does this number come from? It is the result of meticulous, precise planning and then effective implementation of this process. 📌A new way of securing loads transported in Germany📌 In the last quarter of 2024, the new VDI 2700 standard came into force📑 It concerns, among other things, the method of securing loads on board a car transporter🚗🚘🚙 The following regulations have changed: 👉all trucks must have a certificate, 👉the type of transport belts is strictly defined, 👉securing wedges must be approved by the superstructure manufacturer and assigned to its specific type, 👉securing the load depends on the weight of the transported vehicles. On this basis, the Adampol S.A. Training Section has developed its own training program. Drivers have the opportunity to take part in such a course in person👨🏫 or online👨💻 The training is organized on an ongoing basis and will cover all FVL drivers. Our car transporters are also being prepared for the new guidelines. 📌Adampol S.A. modernizes its fleet of car transporters✅ The year 2024 will be marked by, among other things, the purchase of new tractors and decks used to transport finished vehicles🚗🚙🚘 To date, we have purchased a total of 25 new sets. These include: 👉13 Scania trucks with Lohr superstructures, 👉7 Scania trucks with Kassbohrer superstructures, 👉5 Mercedes Benz trucks with Lohr superstructures. Each of the car transporters is thoroughly checked and properly equipped before it hits the road🛣️ At the same time, employees of the Quality Control Department perform test loading on them, and drivers undergo training in their operation. 📌ESG: Another step towards decarbonisation✅ Adampol S.A. and Hyundai GLOVIS Europe employees took part in a two-day training on calculating and reporting the carbon footprint in the transport of finished vehicles📊 The workshop, titled "Sustainability and Carbon Emissions Accounting for Vehicle Logistics" and organised by ECG - The Association of European Vehicle Logistics, aimed to support the organisation's members in their decarbonisation activities and the implementation of ECG-VDA. This is a procedure for determining the amount of carbon dioxide emissions, developed specifically for the FVL sector🚗🚘🚙 Proper calculation of the carbon footprint is an important step towards implementing specific actions to reduce it.
