🥣 What if a simple bowl of soup could help change lives? That’s exactly what happens every year with the "Soupe en Scène" charity festival, organized by the association “Envie d’un Sourire”, proudly supported by bioMérieux. Thanks to our partner Eurest France and the incredible Chef Fabrice Bonnot, exclusive soups were served in five of our Rhône-Alpes sites’ restaurants. The result? Over 500 bowls sold, with 100% of the proceeds going to “Envie d’un Sourire” to bring a smile to the faces of the less fortunate. 💕 A huge thanks to our team members, Eurest, and Chef Bonnot for making this initiative a true recipe for solidarity. 👏 #WeArebioMérieux #WeActForAPositiveImpact

I’m excited to share the launch of bioMérieux’s new digital campaign to combat #AntimicrobialResistance. 💡 This initiative, developed in collaboration with Pfizer and three patient associations, underscores the critical need for awareness and education on the appropriate use of antibiotics. As Medical Affairs professionals, we have a unique responsibility to bridge the gap between science and clinical practice. By promoting better understanding and stewardship of antimicrobials, we aim to support healthcare providers in their fight against resistant infections and ultimately improve patient outcomes. AMR is a challenge we must tackle together! Read more about our efforts. ⤵️ https://lnkd.in/gvgaZDXg

  • ⛵ Early December, we had the pleasure of welcoming Emmanuelle Périé-Bardout, explorer and founder of UNDER THE POLE for an insightful conference at our Ker Lann site in Brittany, France. This event was a great opportunity for our Breton colleagues and team members across France (joining online) to learn about the impactful work UNDER THE POLE is doing to protect our oceans and marine ecosystems. 🌊 By combining scientific research, innovative techniques, and effective awareness-raising, they are making significant strides in ocean preservation. We are proud to have supported this initiative since 2021, aligning with our #CSR commitment to preserve the planet as a healthy place to live. #WeArebioMérieux #WeActForAPositiveImpact

  • 📢 We are announcing today that our BIOFIRE® FILMARRAY® Tropical Fever Panel, a syndromic PCR test targeting causes of tropical fever, has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Special 510(k) clearance. Presentation of tropical fever infections – including malaria, chikungunya or dengue – are often non-specific and overlapping, complicating efforts to distinguish mild self-limiting illness from more severe diseases that require prompt and targeted treatment. The BIOFIRE® FILMARRAY® Tropical Fever (TF) Panel allows healthcare providers to quickly identify pathogens commonly found in patients presenting with suspected tropical fever infections in one fast easy-to-use test. 📰 Read the full press release: https://lnkd.in/eD_-tXue #PioneeringDiagnostics
