🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 We’re proud to announce that Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents is now Employee Owned, having introduced an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). We believe this to be the first in Wales, and likely the largest agency in the UK to make such a transition. 🌟 Our team is now part of our ownership—and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us together. Dafydd & Richard are still in the business but now as employees, helping to continue in the delivery of our award winning service. Read more about our new EOT and what it means for our clients and community! 🌐 https://bit.ly/4fz5H2n 🎉 Newyddion Cyffrous! 🎉 Rydym yn falch o gyhoeddi bod Dafydd Hardy Asiantau Tai bellach yn Berchnogaeth Gweithwyr, ar ôl cyflwyno Ymddiriedolaeth Perchnogaeth Gweithwyr (EOT). Credwn mai dyma'r asiantaeth gyntaf yng Nghymru, ac mae'n debygol mai hon yw'r asiantaeth fwyaf yn y DU i wneud y fath drawsnewid. 🌟 Mae ein tîm bellach yn rhan o’n perchnogaeth – ac ni allwn aros i weld lle mae’r daith hon yn mynd â ni gyda’n gilydd. Mae Dafydd a Richard yn dal yn y busnes ond nawr fel gweithwyr, yn helpu i barhau i ddarparu ein gwasanaeth arobryn. Darllenwch fwy am ein EOT newydd a beth mae'n ei olygu i'n cleientiaid a'n cymuned! 🌐 https://bit.ly/40PQw0t

Let’s talk about imposter syndrome. It’s a term we hear all too often, especially in high-growth industries like tech, finance, and investment, where the journey can feel overwhelming. You walk into rooms, networking events, and meetings filled with brilliant minds—people with impressive qualifications and accolades. And then, doubt whispers: “Do I really belong here?” But let me tell you this: you were invited for a reason. You are not an imposter. You are not here by chance. You are capable. You are worthy. You have a purpose. These feelings of inadequacy? They are lies we tell ourselves in moments of doubt. But your presence is the proof—you’ve earned your place. You are more than enough. Our inner dialogue shapes everything. Every time I pause and ask, “Why am I doing this?”, I’m reminded that my purpose is not just for today. It’s about building a legacy that extends beyond me. It’s about creating a path for the next generation. The incredible founders I meet, the amazing team at Barclays, and the unwavering support of the Diversity-X family—along with my big homie, Kevin Withane (FRSA) Withane—keep me grounded in what truly matters." Huge thanks to Barclays and Tramshed Tech in Wales—Chris Skinner, Emily Pugh, —for partnering with us to launch the Diverse Founders Networking Nights. We’re only 4 months in, and the impact has been incredible! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 And a heartfelt shout-out to the amazing Barclays team in London—Amandine Chaubet-Rochester, Luca Forte, — for pushing me to stand out and keep moving forward. - Exciting things are on the way! 🚀 To all the amazing founders making waves: Plamedi Santima-Akiso: Your voice for underrepresented founders in Cardiff is powerful! Thank you for sharing your passion with AFJ Cardiff ( Afro Jam Cardiff) (Afro Jam Cardiff). Abel Akale: Your wisdom shines through. Thank you for sharing your insights on hiring practices and launching ONEOFFNATURE. Special thanks to Andrea E. for masterminding the planning, and to Mariam Abdillahi Kidson and Dr. Youmna Mouhamad, PhD (Raising EIS/SEIS) for your unwavering support. If you’re interested in joining one of our networking nights, just shoot me a DM and I’ll send you the link! 🎟 Also, for those in Wales' social sector, don’t miss an incredible event on October 1st hosted by Cwmpas & Social Business Wales. The Social Business Wales Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and potential of social enterprises across the nation. It’s more than just an awards night—it’s a tribute to the relentless dedication shaping a brighter, more sustainable future for our communities. Many congratulations @Grahame Nuttall and all at Fieldfisher The work you do is incredibly important and something that we at Cwmpas are endeavouring to replicate in Wales. #Wales #EmployeeOwnership#EOT
📣 Today marks the 10th anniversary of Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) legislation coming into force and no celebration is complete without cake! The team at Fieldfisher has been a trailblazer in the employee ownership sector, playing a crucial role even before the legislation's inception. Our very own Graeme Nuttall OBE, the visionary behind our practice, led the Nuttall Review, published in 2012, which was the catalyst for the legislation – Fieldfisher has been instrumental right from the very beginning. Since then, our team has been at the forefront of guiding businesses transitioning to employee ownership and helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
