📒 We want to start the year by sharing with our network a brilliant guide that has recently been released by Saltaire Retrofit Reimagined. Designed for Saltaire residents living within the conservation area the guide has fantastic graphics that help illustrate the challenges faced when retrofitting stone properties across. We often work with these type of properties and is great to see the challenges so clearly illustrated. We've copied a link below but the guide is also now live on the National Retrofit Hub library. 🪚Day one of our prototype build complete and we have a test wall! We’re testing our prefabricated internal wall insulation kit which has taken us to Shropshire. Next we will test our digitally scanning tool and create bespoke pre-cut panels insulation the wall. Why? Our goal is to insulate one room in one day to reduce the disruption of retrofit. Our very first Retrofit Fair, and what a success! Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all those exhibitors who came along, it really made it a 'retrofit hive of information'. There was everything from quick and easy ways to reduce your heating bills, right the way through to deep retrofit and renewables. Thanks to Diane Hubbard for the Heat Party which we presented on the night. We had a fabulous uptake from householders, over 70 people! A massive thank you to all at Zero Carbon Harrogate, without you events like these wouldn't be possible. The response from attendees and exhibitors alike was so encouraging, I'm already starting to think about our next event...watch this space.
