Welcome to our new Master Glazier, john Reyntiens MBE! John was installed at our dinner here at Glaziers Hall on Thursday, along with Tim McNally as Upper Warden, and Helen Whittaker MBE as Renter Warden. There is something very special for a livery company when the master is a true practitioner of the craft, and it added a real buzz to the evenings atmosphere. We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Southwark, Naima Ali, and the Deputy Master of the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers , Aubrey Dunford. The new Master will be emphasising the importance of the art and craft of stained glass throughout his year, with a programme including a series of two day stained glass workshops, and a trip to Lithuania. Many congratulations to the new Master and Wardens. The photo showed the new Master and wardens; Stewards Ian Seear, Ian Dowson, Sophie Hacker , and Irene Randall; the Mayor of Southwark with Liveryman Ian Wingfield; speaker Graham Jones and Dr Helen Jones with Past Master Glazier Keith Barley MBE ; and the fabulous band Kinetika Bloco Ltd

The photos show Alastair King giving his talk and with John Reyntiens, John with former Lord Mayor and Past Master Glazier Sir David Wootton, with Nicola Auret and Karen Fulford, Master and Clerk of the Company of HR Professionals, and Nick Royle, Clerk of the The Worshipful Society of Apothecaries

Superb evening last night! https://lnkd.in/dav2TreD Organised for and on behalf of The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass our #networking event was a real #success! So many people were arriving later on - I have lost count. We had filled the space with laughter and conversations, introductions and smiles all around. A #happy place for all! Photo album was greatly received by the Master Clive. Lata Gullapalli speech was so meaningful! We would have to repeat it in January. It was a warm, inclusive, inviting meeting of likeminded people. Thank you all for coming, bringing guests and share human connection with each other! #glaziersandfriends
