And it's LIVE! We are so excited to launch our new short film - What would you say? Produced in partnership with Media Trust, Loudmouth Creative, and Criminal Justice Alliance, the film follows a victim of crime as he struggles to cope in the aftermath of an assault. The striking imagery of tape over his mouth represents the silencing of people affected by crime and was developed in consultation with people with lived experience of the criminal justice system. In case you missed it: we sadly said goodbye to Deputy CEO, Kate Aldous, at the end of last year. Kate was a member of the Why me? team for over four years, first as a Trustee and then as a staff member, and her expertise and commitment to RJ have been invaluable over that period. What a year it has been ! As 2024 draws to a close, we've been reflecting on a year of big change and impact at Why me? UK Since joining the team as CEO in March, it's been an absolute delight getting to know the brilliant and talented team, dedicated Trustees, and amazing Ambassadors and volunteers, as well as friends and supporters in the wider Restorative Justice sector. An incredible group of people who are wholly dedicated to working towards a fairer and more compassionate criminal justice system. Thank you to every one of you who has supported us, taken part in our events, shared our work, and collaborated with us this year. Looking forward to working with you all in 2025!
