How do you cram 12 months of highlights into 24 seconds? We’re not sure, but we’ve given it a go! It’s been a brilliant year for OnSide. We’ve seen the incredible opening of WEST Youth Zone in Hammersmith & Fulham. New Youth Zones have been springing up in Barnsley, The Dome Youth Zone, Horizon Youth Zone, Vault, Preston Youth Zone, SYZ Salford Youth Zone, 224 Youth Zone YOUTH MOVES. Our open Youth Zones have continued to adapt and innovate, ensuring young people get the support they need, no matter what. None of this would have been possible without our valued supporters, the hard work and dedication of the OnSide team and the entire Youth Zone Network. Your passion, drive, and belief in young people’s potential have made this year. It'll soon be time for us to log off and recharge. Thank you for being part of our journey - see you in 2025!

We recently had the opportunity to speak with Dame Rachel de Souza, Children's Commissioner for England at WEST Youth Zone, where she shared her thoughts on the Youth Zone and which activities she’d enjoy doing if she were a member. As a champion of giving all children a voice, it's great to hear Dame Rachel speak about the difference youth centres, like OnSide Youth Zones, make in young lives, and how we need more safe and inspiring spaces across the country 💚 #youthworkworks

Yesterday, we welcomed the amazing network of OnSide Youth Zones and supporters to WEST Youth Zone for the annual #OnSideSummit We were happy to host the biggest and best OnSide conference yet! Our highlights include: 👉 Great insight from keynote speaker Dame Rachel de Souza, Children's Commissioner for England, who described Youth Zones as a "solution to so many of the difficult things that I see, day in day out…every child, every young person deserves this." 👉 Hearing stories and insight from other youth zone members from across the country 👉 An amazing panel conversation to discuss OnSide's new Network Social Value Report. Did you know 🤔 for every £1 invested into Youth Zones, there’s over £13 of social return on investment! 👉 Recognising and thanking Chairs and Trustees from across the Network 👉 Our CEO, Elanor Gunn and Junior Manager, Harry Wills, for the great storytelling of WEST best moment so far ... 👉 and of course! Our incredible WEST member involvement from Cherise, who was the brilliant compere, and Mars, who blew us away with their original song performances. Thank You!
