Mark brings his unrivalled commercial creativity, reactive decision making and wicked sense of humour to the role of leading the international Vebro team across our three operating platforms! Responsible for driving the business forwards through organic market acquisition, operational excellence and service deliverables, Mark takes up the position at an important juncture of the company’s growth timeline. At the same time, we announce the strategic decision for Craig Brookes to step into the role of Group Executive Chairman. Craig will leverage his extensive experience and business network within the resin flooring sector to explore new revenue streams and introduce added value commercial partnerships designed to drive incremental growth across the Group! Good morning Part-A People! And a very Happy New Year to you all! 🎉🥳🪩 We are back with a bang and ready to take on 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣! 💪 A few updates for our UK followers... whilst many of you have been munching on mince pies, we've been hard at work moving into our new home in Wilmslow! For the next couple of weeks, all orders will continue to be despatched from Trafford Park and we'll update you once the mixers are moved and it's time for you to update your records to our new permanent home at Argyle House! #watchthisspace All of our telephone numbers remain the same and Kat and Kate are on hand to help should you have any queries related to deliveries or should you wish to place new orders! Andrew comes with a fabulous CV and vast experience in process-led manufacturing! His immediate focus will be the big move - all while minimising any disruption to production! Thereafter, Andrew will oversee Vebro UK's operational performance, ensuring seamless fulfilment of our resin flooring materials across UK and European markets! BREAKING NEWS: 'Tis the Season to be Jolly Excited that... WE'RE MOVING TO A NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY! 📣🚚📦📦📦📦🎄 We are jumping up and down with excitement this morning to share that Vebro UK is on the move at the end of the year; as we re-locate to a new, larger hybrid manufacturing and office facility named Argyle House located off Epsom Avenue in Wilmslow!!! Having outgrown our current home in Trafford Park, our new site is set to boost our current manufacturing output by close to 200 per cent over the coming twelve months, and will create several new jobs over the coming years. Situated at the heart of Stanley Green Business Park, Wilmslow, Argyle House comprises two-storey offices to the front elevation and warehouse with double loading doors to the rear. The unit is completely self-contained within its own yard and has ample parking and loading / unloading space – all of which is ring fenced with a gated entrance. The move to Argyle House has been designed to future-proof the business for the long-term. Additional racking height and physical space (both internal and external) will allow us to more than treble our existing pallet capacity while the addition of new mixers and plant will enable us to green light the production of new product lines. We will also be opening a brand spanking new training facility featuring a state-of-the art laboratory, training room and wet demonstration area so keep your eyes peeled for more details in the New Year!!! We are delighted to have partnered with Milestone Flooring to deliver this seamless protective flooring system for a supercar automotive service centre located in Yorkshire! The vebrodeck ID system - featuring a solvent-free epoxy topcoat in Dusty Grey 7037 - was specified across the service area to ensure a seamless, impervious surface equipped to deal with high-end automotive repair and servicing. Surfaces in these premises needs to have a high degree of chemical resistance to industrial grade oils, be able to handle heavy traffic and machinery, and ensure strength underfoot to avoid chipping and flaking. Left uncoated, absorption from chemical spillage, or tyre bleed, can lead to degradation of the exposed concrete creating an unsafe working environments, which is why a protective coating system is a MUST! Bhd. 🇲🇾 Part of the Chinese-owned Baowu Steel Group (ranked #1 in the world for iron and steel manufacture, and one of a Global TOP 500 companies) Bausteel Can Making also happens to be one of Vebro's neighbours - with its Malaysian operations also situated on the ECO Business Park in Puncak Alam. Just shy of 1,000 square metres of Vebro Polymers' pigmented water-based epoxy coating system, vebrores EP SC has been installed by Vebro partner Reschem in dual colours to introduce walkways that regulate traffic areas and signal hazard free areas within the facility. vebrores EP SC is a two-coat system that cures to a high-gloss finish! The material is low viscosity, east to apply and has been principally designed to give the benefits of a two part solvent-free epoxy coating at an economical cost where high build is not essential! The material is best suited to coat floors, walls and ceilings in light duty areas, where a dust-free, water-based, easily cleaned sealer with improved chemical resistance is required. The system is VOC free, nonylphenol free and breathable, promoting a safe environment for both installers laying the materials workers using the building. Methyl methacrylate (MMA) flooring can achieve results that are not possible with other resin systems which is why they are widely used in facilities that have limited or no shutdown capacity. The vebrospeed Quartz SR system from Vebro Polymers was specified across two appliance bays and adjacent utility areas at the newly refurbished Congleton Fire Station. The system, based on MMA (methyl methacrylate) chemistry is a multi-layer, fast-drying flooring system which sees decorative quartz broadcast to excess across a self-smoothing MMA bodycoat to a textured, slip resistant finish that can achieve a PTV value of >40 in wet service conditions. The system offers several benefits to the end user client: most notably its fast return to service. With each layer ready to overcoat just 60 minutes following application, meaning that installation can take places in the smallest of downtime windows, making it an excellent solution in live refurbishment scenarios. Other advantages of the system include its seamless, easy-clean properties, high compressive strength, excellent scratch resistance, decorative appearance and slip-resistant, profiled finish – safeguarding emergency service workers underfoot.
