Meet designer Ruby Coyne who will be with us this Sunday to host our final Winter Design Workshop of the year! Founded in 2015 by Ruby, Dreamland is a nostalgic and energetic fashion label based in Dundee. Drawing inspiration from 1980s culture which is integral to the Dreamland design process with a focus on sustainability. Dreamland Reworked is all about intricate collections released in small drops – all made from vintage duvet covers and recycled fabrics and finishings. Meet Kirsty Currie who is leading our paper wreath making workshop on 14 December ☺️ Kirsty is a paper artist and illustrator based between Oban and Glasgow. Working from her home studio she creates playful and interactive paper goods including 3D models, paper illustrations, cards and decorations. Kirsty draws inspiration from her surrounding landscapes and closeness to nature, with a particular interest in the cultures and languages of Scotland - amplifying hidden narratives, and words lost. Reducing environmental impact and making her work as sustainable as possible is key. Through using paper - a naturally recyclable material - Kirsty strives to create a fully circular practice, setting an example of how you can create art and joy at little to no cost to the environment.
