  • With a brand ethos centred on food, people and the planet, tp bennett has delivered Tetra Pak’s Warsaw workplace as part of their ‘Future Work Experience’ strategy, seamlessly integrating sustainable design principles with a commitment to employee wellbeing and productivity.   Cognitive zoning practices were used to tailor the workplace experience. By analysing and categorising each space’s sensory stimulation, the layout transitions between high-energy collaborative neighbourhoods to calm focused areas, fostering both creativity and concentration.   Materiality and furniture choices reflect a commitment to environmental responsibility. Wall panels are made from 50% recycled PET bottles and custom fluted wall panels 3D-printed from reused Tetra Pak packaging, reduce waste, reinforcing the company’s dedication to a circular economy.   “The Future Work Experience is more than a workplace, it’s the balance between functionality, inclusivity and sustainability which reflects Tetra Pak’s global values. Working closely with tp bennett, we’re fostering productivity, embracing diversity, and reducing environmental impact, positioning Tetra Pak as a pioneer in the future of work,” says Mariarcangela Carriero, Key Account Manager, Workplace Experience & Real Estate, Tetra Pak.    📸 © Tomasz Bartoszyński #SustainableDesign #InclusiveWorkplace #FutureOfWork #Warsaw

Stonecutter in Farringdon is a 13-storey, 250,000 sq ft commercial development that enhances London's urban grid.   John Pritchard (John P.) at tp bennett and Matteo Baradi (Focchi Group) discuss how innovative façade design embeds the building within its urban and historical context. Inspired by Hatton Garden, the design uses natural stone and reflective materials to connect past and future.   With over 2,000 façade panels featuring pre/post-consumer recycled aluminium and natural stone, the envelope makes a meaningful contribution to the buildings carbon cutting approach.   Completing in early 2025, this collaborative project with CO-RE London and Ivanhoé Cambridge/PIMCO Prime Real Estate is already attracting tenants and contributing to the City of London's re-emergence as a global business hub.   Watch the presentation here: https://lnkd.in/dGchtGtB #Stonecutter #facadedesign #london #architecture #cityoflondon #newbuild

  • “Lighting goes hand in hand with the designs we create. We really need to think about experience; how people interact with it when you're designing spaces.” emphasises Tajal Rutherford-Bhatt in a thought-provoking roundtable hosted by Atrium on the importance of lighting on our health and productivity. Understanding that humans need a wider spectrum of light to be healthy, Tajal highlights how tp bennett uses customisable, layered lighting to boost activity in the workplace, making sure it works well with natural elements like biophilia as well as the materials around us. Learn more about the benefits of light and how we can design to include a range of indoor light in this fascinating discussion with industry experts. https://lnkd.in/gR8KQGnE Adrienne Photography #lightingdesign #naturallight #sustainabledesign #workplacewellbeing #tpbennett

What do we want our homes and neighbourhood to look like in 2034 ? How do we deliver sufficient housing in the next 10 years that is both affordable and sustainable? At our recent roundtable with Place North West hosted by Julia Hatmaker, we brought together local authorities, housing associations, developers, policy makers and consultants to explore how housing design can reconnect communities, build trust and ultimately, create better places for people and the planet. Some key takeaways include: • Community empowerment and engagement: Foster honest, early engagement with communities to identify their needs, and create a sense of ownership through co-design and active participation. • Innovative and holistic design approaches: Encourage context-specific, innovative designs that avoid one-size-fits-all solutions, starting with the needs of the wider community and working inward to create integrated developments. • Sustainable living awareness: Promote knowledge-sharing around living in sustainable neighbourhoods for better energy use and a greater impact. • Policy and metrics: Shift policy focus toward enabling sustainable change with metrics that prioritise whole lifecycle carbon over cost alone. • Funding for affordable housing: Address funding gaps for affordable housing at regional and national levels through collaborative efforts between key stakeholders. Thank you to all who attended as we take steps to help deliver the housing that the UK needs.
