What if this is right and we’ve been getting it wrong? I mean, it wouldn’t surprise anyone, right? We’re talking about workplace wellbeing and mental health more than ever, but knowledge and awareness alone doesn’t appear to be enough. But that’s ok. Because when something is new, it’s rarely perfect. Workplace wellbeing is no different. We are constantly researching, learning and changing our understanding of what it is and how to improve it. What doesn’t change is how important it is and the impact it has. So if you’re planning your 2024 wellbeing initiatives, consider the following: 👀 Why are you considering a particular intervention? Is it because you’ve seen somewhere else doing it? Or because it’s the right thing for your business? 🙉 Have you listened to the workforce? What are they saying about their wellbeing? 👥 Are you involving your leaders and managers and are they believers? 🌎 Is it possible to take a holistic, company-wide approach to wellbeing rather than individual/employee led interventions? You are not alone. Need help in answering some of the above? Please get in touch to discuss a free wellbeing audit for your business to provide insight on the current state of your workplace wellbeing and how to focus your strategy for 2024.
