As 2024 comes to a close, the ASAP Team want to thank you for being part of our journey this year. It's been an amazing, sometimes difficult, mostly incredibly uplifting twelve months. We’ve welcomed new Members, and enjoyed several networking events and our two major annual gatherings - the ASAP Awards in June, and the recent sell-out Conference. We've strengthened industry connections with other trade bodies and collaborated with our media partners on some communications projects. We've launched and engaged closely with the ASAP Working Groups, who ran some of the most successful sessions at the Conference and who are meeting regularly and submitting content for the wider ASAP Resources. We were devastated to share the news of CEO James Foice's prostate cancer diagnosis in June, and his need for ongoing treatment. We're delighted to report he's doing well and will be back in the spring to join 2025 activities, but in the meantime the smaller team are eternally grateful for all the offers of support and all the positivity that came from the Conference - we'll be carrying this enthusiasm into the new year and look forward to meeting you all soon. In summary, your trust and support have been central to our amazing year, and we’re proud to serve as the trade body and representative in the serviced apartment sector. If you celebrate this time of year, and however you do so, the ASAP Team wish you, your families, friends and colleagues a happy, safe festive season and send all good wishes for 2025. Our offices are officially closed between 23 December and 5th January, but the world of hospitality never sleeps! So if you have anything to share with us, please feel free to contact the team as usual and we will be in touch as soon as we can. Kim Ashmore Sarah Tasker Becky Wordsworth Hoyle

As we tot up the responses to our delegate feedback survey, we're delighted to report that no fewer than 100% of respondents would recommend the ASAP - The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers Conference to others, based on this year's event. Brilliant 💯 ! The quality of the content in the sessions had a near faultless score: 'I thought the sessions I attended were all on topic and relevant to the industry and would like to see that continued in future conferences,' said one review. And the venue also scored brilliantly: 'Format worked great, location was excellent, keep it up!' We're already planning the event for 2025, and will be releasing information early next year and launching Early Bird ticket sales to help you plan ahead. There was a bit of a last minute panic this time, when the event sold out and a few people realised they didn't have a ticket... Thanks once again to this year's Sponsors and Exhibitors - we've already had the first enquiries in for 2025. And don't forget our wonderful Keynote Speaker Simon Calder - there was so much love in the room for him, and such a great way to end the day. And of course, thanks again to Kearon M. whose public sacrifice (his beard) helped bring the Prostate Cancer UK fundraising total on the day to over £5,000. The JustGiving page https://lnkd.in/eDXBJYWB is still open (please contribute if you can), and the total today sits at £6,400 🥰 . Reflecting on the 2024 ASAP Conference – your feedback matters! This time last week, the 2024 ASAP Conference was in full swing, and what an event it was! Yesterday, we shared a short feedback form with all attendees to hear your thoughts and the responses so far have been both positive and constructive. Thank you for taking the time to help us shape next year’s conference! Here’s what we’ve learned so far (and loved hearing, by the way): - Convene Houndsditch was a hit, offering the perfect space to connect and collaborate; - Simon Calder, our fabulous Keynote Speaker, impressed us all, not only arriving early but closing the event on a high note; and - The industry-focused content was so strong it left many wishing they could attend multiple sessions at once! We hear you, and we’re already working to make 2025 even better based on your insights. If you didn’t receive the feedback email or can’t find the link, drop us a line at admin@theasap.org.uk and we’ll resend it. If you’ve already shared your thoughts, thank you! Your input makes all the difference as we plan for another fantastic year of great content and even greater people. P.S. We’re still fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK, a cause close to our hearts. Please continue to help us make a difference! https://lnkd.in/eDXBJYWB Kim Ashmore James Foice Sarah Tasker Becky Wordsworth Hoyle Trine Oestergaard Stafford Cristina Lopez Gomez Melanie Degand Laura Rachael Moore 🏨 🧳 🌳 David Stansfield Michelle Wray Keith Freeman Darryl Walker Stephen Lowy Michelle Jackson Jouke Baaima Jacob Bone

Looking forward to seeing more pictures from the night and hearing more from ASAP Agent Member AltoVita. Congratulations to all those awarded Altos - great to see ASAP Operator Members Charles Hope Apartments and Staycity Group were both double award winners!
What a night! 🎉 Yesterday’s Altos Event in London at the fabulous Ham Yard Hotel was one for the books! With over 100 industry professionals gathered, we celebrated 13 incredible award winners and enjoyed a jam-packed day full of inspiration, innovation, and a bit of sparkle. The day started with Opening Remarks from Karolina Saviova, setting the tone for an exciting lineup. We dove straight into the buzzworthy topic of the Middle East market—a land of endless opportunity! Rick Schultheis from Rotana Hotels & Resorts wowed us with stats and plans for new hotel openings. While Radhika Gorsia touched on how she's working with clients on relocation moves to the Middle East. Next up, Karen FitzGerald and our very own Vivi H. took the stage for a dynamic session about AltoVita’s partnership with NBCUniversal. Let’s just say, it was all about sharing the ultimate playbook for making operators irresistible to corporate clients. Safety and sustainability? We’ve got that covered too! Danielle Prior introduced Justin Ford from Breezeway, who kept everyone on the edge of their seats with his expertise in safety and security. Then, Kim Winter from edyn brought the house down with her talk on sustainability, showing us how edyn is setting the bar high for green practices. 🌿🌍 The fun didn’t stop there! Our product demos stole the spotlight. Elena Sheveleva and Seb Hammond gave everyone an insider look at how corporate clients book accommodations on AltoVita. Then, Julia Kichigina and Lucinda Hindmarsh wowed the crowd with a sneak peek of our shiny new AltoCore and Tiering System. The big takeaway? Operators can seriously up their game (and their market share!) with AltoVita. 💼✨ We ended the night in style with an epic award ceremony, celebrating 13 rockstar winners who are making waves in the industry. Charles Hope Apartments and Staycity Group had 2 wins each! 🏆🎉 And guess what? We’re already gearing up for The Altos 2025! Stay tuned—it’s going to be even bigger and better. 🙌✨ Once again, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our sponors! Respect and thanks go to ASAP Operator Member Mansley Serviced Apartments who have just made a huge, and much appreciated, contribution to our JustGiving campaign for Prostate Cancer UK. While the team at ASAP - The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers are still on a high following the atmosphere and levels of engagement at the Annual Conference last week, we're still very much focused on raising funds for and awareness of this horrible disease. So thank you, to David Wright, Sir Richard Rowley Bt. and your colleagues. We are deeply touched and grateful. ASAP CEO James Foice would like to send his thanks, and is very much boosted by the good wishes he has received from right across the sector. If you can help us on our campaign financially or with messages of goodwill, you can find the link below. Our brave supporter Kearon M. can be glimpsed in this teaser video from the day, as we celebrated meeting our original fundraising target and his beard paid the price. https://lnkd.in/eDXBJYWB

Just received from JustGiving: "You’re a top 5% fundraiser, ASAP - The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers! Your page was one of the most successful JustGiving pages last month. Out of thousands of fundraisers, you were in the top 5%. Congrats on raising so much for Prostate Cancer UK - you're an absolute hero. "Share this epic achievement! Thank your supporters and encourage others to donate. Remember to tag your friends and family so more people can see it." On Thursday last week, the legend that is Kearon M. was divested of his epic and much-loved beard, when the fundraising topped £3,000, with Situ and CAP Worldwide Serviced Apartments sharing the honours - and the physical shave - as highest donors. Their generosity has just now been matched by our friends at EurA AG - thank you all for joining us in this cause Briony Horwood, Tad Zurlinden and your team. The fundraising won't end here, we have plans for all manner of events in 2025, watch this space for more. And if you can contribute, please help us continue to help this important campaign. https://lnkd.in/eDXBJYWB James Foice Kim Ashmore Sarah Tasker Becky Wordsworth Hoyle Keith Freeman Darryl Walker Michelle Wray Laura Rachael Moore 🏨 🧳 🌳 David Stansfield Melanie Degand Trine Oestergaard Stafford Cristina Lopez Gomez

Thank you SO MUCH for your amazing hospitality Viridian Apartments for our team, during the ASAP - The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers conference. We had a wonderful stay in your stunning Commercial Road apartments and enjoyed spending time with some of your team on the day itself. After we’ve had a few hours to catch our breath and reflect on this year’s event, Kim, Sarah and Becky will check in with James Foice and start planning for next year’s. And we hope you’ll be a part of things again Dominic Sherry, Anna Rivers, Nikki Keel and Gareth Hughes!
