I attended the Grow London Summit Retreat last week, and it was a transformative experience-  nothing short of insightful and impacting. Held at the beautiful The Chelsea Harbour Hotel & Spa, the event had over 150 ambitious scaleup founders tackling big growth challenges, sharing insights, and exploring the transformative power of emerging tech. Day 1 set the tone with a high-energy session led by Janet Coyle CBE, celebrating London’s status as a global AI hub. Oli Barrett’s talk on pausing to propel forward resonated deeply, as did the "State of the World" panel with Marta Krupinska, Eamonn Ives, Henry Whorwood and Daniel Glazer, unpacking everything from US elections to strategic pivots. The next day started with some much-needed wellness – from Pilates to a Chelsea walking tour, setting a perfect tone to combat burnout and re-energize. The sessions were packed with insights, including Dan Cobley and Allie Laurent’s advice on scaling sales strategy, and Lasya Rao’s guidance on taking businesses to the next level. Karen Birks and Cordelia Meacher’s "Storytelling for Scaleup Success" workshop was a huge hit again, along with insights from David Peto, Will Reed, and Una Mc Grath experts on leveraging tech and AI for operational scale-a session that resonated with me considering what we're doing at Tech1M (Techstars ‘23) As we wrapped up, we shared goals, insights, and fresh inspiration to take forward. Huge thanks to London & Partners for an unforgettable experience – leaving with new connections, insights, and renewed energy!
