About us

Sweet Thyme Foods provides small food and drinks brands with the opportunity to outsource their sales to an experienced, undistracted team. We focus on the crucial sales step of getting listings in accounts smaller than multinational supermarkets, including independents, wholesaler and small/medium sized chains. Having worked with the Sweet Thyme Foods team, brands have refined their offering, proven their concept, built their sales and generated attractive rate of sale data, leaving them in a strong position to pursue multinational supermarkets when the time is right. We are an extension of our brands' team and often replace internal sales teams thanks to us providing expertise and successful outcomes, whilst importantly being more financially attractive than hiring internally.

    No reply doesn’t necessarily mean not interested.. A buyer once told me that they’d often get 200 emails/day from brands who want to be listed with them 🤯 There’s no wonder that your email can slip through the cracks with all of the things buyers have the juggle. Chasing is an inevitable part of sales, but we HAVE to make that chase valuable. Please don’t just email them asking if they’ve seen the previous email. Or want samples. 😴 But what should you chase with?..and then what should you chase with? Should you add a deck? What should be in the text? Should you just send samples?     Starting my new year with my first ever Linkedin selfie! 😬 Because… 💥 Our next workshop series starts on the 21st January 💥 3 virtual workshops 1 hour each Over 3 weeks I’ll give you all of the tools and knowhow to secure and build successful listings with independents, wholesalers and premium chains.     I love a wander around a store filled with challenger brands! So yesterday was a fab Thursday - raye the store’s pop up in Piccadilly faces Whole Foods Market ✅✅ But, how do you actually get on a Whole Foods shelf?   How can you catch the buyers’ eyes when they’re getting HUNDREDS of emails from brands each day? What are they looking for? And what are the must haves to be part of their range? Do you sell to them directly? Margins…huh? And then, how do you STAY on shelf? And how much does this cost? These questions might be whirling around your head!
