🌟 Highlights from the SOURCED Sri Lanka Textile & Apparel Road Show! 🌟 We had an inspiring day at the SOURCED Sri Lanka Textile & Apparel Road Show, where we delved into the vibrant world of Sri Lankan textile and apparel manufacturing. The event was a showcase of remarkable innovation, quality craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to sustainability. Meeting with suppliers face-to-face was invaluable. It was great to see firsthand how Sri Lankan manufacturers are setting new standards in the industry. A big thank you to @SeamlessSource for helping with all our sourcing needs and introducing us to all the amazing suppliers/organisers for making this event a success! Here’s to future collaborations and continued excellence in the textile industry! 🌍✨

Are you well? 👉🏾Did you know that the UK is one of the biggest wellness industry markets in Europe with an estimated value of 223 billion US dollars? Wow. (Source: Statista) 👉🏾Do you personally feel the benefit of those billions and are you even seen by this industry? This year I am exploring wellness, which is an evolution of World Afro Day® but at the same time I think that it has always been there. We have always been about addressing the whole human being, through the lens of Afro hair acceptance, celebration and liberation. During 2024, my personal need for wellness has made me question which brands care about my wellness as a British African Caribbean woman. Nothing in the mainstream comes to mind not a single brand and I’m speaking beyond hair. A brand has to see you and want to know you to really address your well-being. 👏🏾Some brands definitely focus on different aspects like physical well-being and do good work like SOUL CAP and Black Girls Hike UK C.I.C. Are there any mainstream brands that you associate with wellness towards you? 👉🏾What can we do to be a part of your wellness? Please fill out our survey below, in the comments or on our website and share so we can find out some more about what our community needs for wellness. 👉🏾 Survey: https://lnkd.in/ewabW59n Denese Chikwendu, MAPM, CertCoach, MA, BA (Hons) Anastasia Chikezie Carole Pyke MCIM #wellnessindustry #visibility #selfcare

Incredible! A must watch film 🌊
"Wave Women UK," our groundbreaking short film is aimed at enhancing diversity in surfing as we gear up for the #Paris2024 Olympics! 🇫🇷🏄🏽♀️🌊 We believe surfing should be for everyone, regardless of gender, race, or background. Our film showcases the incredible stories of female surfers from diverse communities, breaking stereotypes and inspiring the next generation of wave riders. 🌟 As we approach the Paris 2024 Olympics, it's crucial to amplify the voices and talents of underrepresented groups in the surfing world. By sharing these empowering narratives, we're not just riding waves; we're creating a tidal wave of change in the sport. 🌊 watch here https://lnkd.in/e5uSNM5k. supported by Finisterre SOUL CAP Surfing England #WaveWomenUK #DiversityInSurfing #Paris2024 #Empowerment #Inclusion #watersports #olympics

Introducing Soul Cap's latest collection, CORE, aimed at enhancing the product transparency and circularity. This collection harnesses the power of Seamless Source technology. Every product is traceable through verified transactions, ensuring transparency. Designs were carefully crafted with a focus on durability and circularity. Most importantly, I'm personally fascinated by the background story and mission of SOUL CAP. #SoulCapCORE #FashionInnovation #SeamlessSource #SustainableStyle #TraceableFashion #CircularDesign #EthicalFashion #TransparencyMatters #FashionRevolution #digitalproductpassport #dpp
We are thrilled to share our brand new swimwear collection, CORE for women, men and children 🏊♀️ Crafted from an eco-sustainable techno-fabric, this collection continues to dive deeper into our drive and initiative to provide sustainable and environmentally conscious fashion to our consumers 💚 We have also created an innovative product passport which features a unique QR code, revealing the path of each design through ethical material sourcing, to assembly. This allows our customers the ability to trace their swimsuit's global journey and access tips on prolonging its lifespan and recycling it responsibly. Thank you to team SOUL CAP for all their hard work in bringing this collection to life. Shop CORE via soulcap.com 🌊
