The talented Mark-Mason has a film submitted in the Smiley Charity Film Awards, please vote now! You can find the link in our bio or in the comments section or here: https://lnkd.in/eKRwUudm Film & Campaign Description A documentary/animated style film featuring Local Facilitator for Peterborough Leonie, Ambassador Lizzie & Photographer Darren, just one of the few amazing staff from "Safe Soulmates" being interviewed about the values of the origination and being neurodivergent while also presenting who they are, what the outcome was of joining Safe Soulmates and eventually to their strong involvement in the present. The purpose of the film is to see the realism and honesty of being neurodivergent by actual people with autism and i wanted to spread the good word of "Safe Soulmates" and show that neurodivergent people are people too, we may act different but we are human and it's important to show our human connections through our honesty and being our selves and i hope people can take something away from this. October is ADHD Awareness Month and this year’s theme reminds us that ‘Awareness is Key.’ Amelia from Safe Soulmates CIC shares some of her personal experiences with ADHD, offering a glimpse into her neurodivergence and how it affects her. Not everyone with ADHD struggles with mental health, but anxiety, depression, substance use and sleep problems are all more common with people who have #ADHD and people with ADHD are up to five times more likely to attempt suicide. Creating supportive and understanding environments can make all the difference. That’s why we’ve adapted our #suicidepreventiontraining for high-risk communities. Our suicide prevention training workshops are designed to equip people with the skills to better understand and support high-risk communities, including neurodivergent. The workshops, co-produced with Safe Soulmates CIC, will help you to break the silence and stigma, creating safe spaces for people to ask, respond and know what steps they can take when someone discloses they feel suicidal. 🔗Book now: https://ow.ly/astp50TSpFA #ADHDAwarenessMonth #MentalHealthSupport #SuicideIsPreventable
