    As 2024 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on an incredible year filled with growth, collaboration, and exciting moments at both DHD and Tubular.io Here are five highlights that made this year for me: 1️⃣ Collaborating with incredible people I met at events like SaaStock, MAD//FEST, Web Summit and other meet ups. 2️⃣ Continuing to support young entrepreneurs by speaking at LaunchX Entrepreneurship Program sharing insights and connecting with future leaders across the world and universities like MIT, Stanford, Northwestern, and more. 3️⃣ Expanding the vision for DHD, building meaningful connections, developing new services & processes and continuing to bring the value for our clients. 4️⃣ Focusing on sustainability in tech & sport, learning from leaders in the space, and working towards more impactful, eco-conscious projects. Whether you love them or hate them, these recaps are undeniably helpful in summarising a pretty hectic year. I know that it certainly has been for me. · Hosted our best ever event series (including an all-day event at LinkedIn, our marketing leaders dinner, several Breakfast Briefings, our co-event with the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, our biggest Nottingham Digital Summit in a brand new venue, and way, waaaaay too many webinars to mention) · Writing the winning entries for the Global Search Awards, European Search Awards, UK Company Culture Awards, UK Agency Awards, and being one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work 💅🏻 (go team Hallam!) · Raising over £15,000 for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People 😍 · Representing Hallam at SaaStock in Dublin and sponsoring The Marketing Meetup's London events · Having one of our best ever years for PR coverage 🤩 · Working with the amazing Hallam squad, with special shout-outs to Ben, Maddie, Molly and Chris; all of the above was possible thanks to your support. I saw Joyann's similar recap post where she said: "Also (whilst) it was hard as hell, I felt like I was learning and relearning every minute" - spot on. And for 2025? Well, I'm excited to see what's next. Whether it's PR, communications, events or generalist marketing, I'm always up for interesting conversations about creating meaningful impact. So here’s to making the leap, trusting your instincts and having a restful Christmas ✨

    Business Development Executive at Panintelligence

    As we approach the end of 2024, I can reflect on what has been a hugely exciting year at Panintelligence. At times I can’t quite believe how lucky I have been. Some highlights to name a few: 1.     Events: We attended some of the best and biggest trade shows around, including Pay360, Accountex, SaaStock & FinTech Connect. They've helped me make connections, learn more about new industries and give me a top line view on where the market is going! 2.     Speaking Opportunities: Outside the day job this has to be 2024's highlight. Shoutout to the team at Salesfinity for giving me two appearances on their cold calling shows! Had such a blast and Omar, you and your team have a hugely bright future ahead. Benjamin, your coaching was invaluable, I continue to use the tips daily. Keep up the great work! Another special shoutout to FinTech North for having me speak on their York panel. Amazing to talk more about Panintelligence’s international expansion and what an amazing group to share this with (Joe Roche, Ryan Walsh, Rachel England, Julian Wells, Stefan Haase, Katie Ramsey, Nikki Foster Le-Grys, Liam Spence). 3.     New Markets: As some of you know Pi’s primary customers are software / SaaS vendors looking to embed analytics into platforms. We remain active in this and will continue to serve our customers and welcome any new vendors looking to take in-platform BI to the next level. However, I am very grateful to Zandra Moore for giving me the opportunity to lead the charge on us tapping into a new (ish) market and designing the proposition… watch this space... 4.     New Customers and Relationships: In sales one must always manage highs and lows, but I am very thankful for all of those of you who I have met along the way. I can even give myself a pat on the back for bringing in a new customer in a country that Panintelligence had never even served before. 5.     Team, team, team: Hugely fortunate to be working with a team that are great fun to be around! I’d love to shoutout everyone but special mentions to my fellow BD Paddy Tyrer for all his help and cheerleading, our tenacious bunch of SDRs (Ronan Murphy, George Grubb, Ryan Williams) hitting the phones to make our job easier, our first class Pre-Sales consultant Luke Craven for wowing prospects with his awesome demos and PoCs and of course the fantastic Director team supporting us through the most complex moments in our deals (Ken Miller, Charlotte Bailey, Phil Normington, Zandra Moore)! Super proud of the team this year for navigating our way through tough circumstances, but for now I’ll be very glad to enjoy some Christmas rest and wait for an unbelievable 2025 to kick off!
