  • 🔔 New Year, NOT New You: A Reminder for 2025 As professionals, it’s tempting to embrace the “new year, new me” mindset and aim for ambitious transformations. But too often, this leads to unrealistic expectations, burnout, and self-criticism. At Response, we believe in self-compassion as the foundation for growth. Here are ways to be kind to yourself while pursuing goals in 2025: - Move mindfully: Swap extreme fitness goals for regular, gentle exercise—like a calming walk in nature. - Learn with joy: Focus on the process of developing skills, not perfection. - Redefine productivity: Celebrate small wins; even resting is valuable. - Organize slowly: Tackle one small area at a time to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Visit our online wellbeing toolkits for more insights: 👉 https://buff.ly/4fmlYa1 Let’s make 2025 the year of realistic goals and self-kindness. 🌟 #MentalHealthMatters #SelfCompassion #BeKinderToYourself #NewYearNotNewYou

Mental health services are at risk and we need your voice. Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting are poised to make critical decisions about NHS priorities, including how funding will be allocated. We’re deeply concerned that they may scrap the Mental Health Investment Standard (MHIS), a crucial safeguard that ensures local mental health services in England receive a guaranteed level of funding. Losing the MHIS would be devastating. It would mean fewer resources for people struggling with their mental health and longer waits for those urgently seeking help. This is simply unacceptable. Our team is working tirelessly behind the scenes to protect this funding, but we can’t do it alone. Your support can make a difference: 👍 Like, share, or save this post to amplify the message. 💬 Comment below and tag Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting to urge them to prioritise mental health care. Mental health services are already stretched thin. Over 2 million people are waiting for support, and removing the MHIS would make this crisis even worse. Let’s raise our voices together and show how critical this issue is. Every voice matters.
