Quantum Arts blogs! 🌟 Reflecting on the first year of the Quantum Alliance, a highlight for the team was our first Arts/Quantum Incubator in August. Thirty attendees were joined by Ariane Koek, Initiator and founder of Arts at CERN, Sarah Cook, founder of LifeSpace, Scotland’s first dedicated art-science research gallery at the University of Dundee, and Prof Louise Harris, Professor of Audiovisual Composition at the University of Glasgow, to explore new facets of work through a creative collaboration 🖋️ We are really fortunate to have received two pieces of writing about the event from writers Meagan Jennett and Dr Carly Brown, which beautifully capture the scope of potential within the art and quantum space 🚀 Read the blogs on our dedicated Arts page ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eJqT6WWF Scottish Funding Council Ashley Lyons Jack Brennan Millie Mather SULSA - Scottish Universities Life Sciences Alliance Technology Scotland QuantIC - The UK Quantum Technology Hub in Quantum Enhanced Imaging
About us
We are an SFC funded network connecting people across Scotland for all things quantum. We aim to provide opportunities to build new ideas and projects across a wide range of disciplines including those not typically assciated with quantum technologies as well as build connections between academia, industry, policy makers and the general public. You can find out a little more about us and the other SFC funded ARCs here https://www.sfc.ac.uk/research/research-collaboration/ARC-quantum.aspx
