We were delighted to work with Mission 44, Lewis Hamilton's charitable foundation, on qualitative research looking at cross-sector collaboration in #motorsports to help improve representation in #STEM roles. We spoke with organisations across the motorsports industry and found that there was a desire for collaborative initiatives in the sector to bolster the sector's #DEI efforts. What does Gen Z want from its leaders? In recent years we have witnessed numerous challenging events: the murder of George Floyd, Roe v Wade, and race riots in the UK - not to mention ongoing debates around fossil fuels, trans rights and slavery reparations. Historically, businesses have stayed firmly away from these issues. But younger audiences have different expectations of business. Our latest Purpose Pulse data shows that 53% of Gen Z and Millennials expect companies to do more on social issues, a significant increase from 39% in 2021. Our Founding Partner Daniela Flores MPRCA dives into our findings and argues that when it comes to the expectations of Gen Z, leaders need to "either get on board or get out of the way" 👇 #PurposePulse #DEI #Climate #BusinessForGood #GenZ #Leadership https://lnkd.in/eHyyJj3h

"Lord make me green, but not yet." After a tumultuous weekend in Baku, critics are responding to the decidedly lacking outcomes of COP29. The new $1.3 trillion climate finance target leaves much to be desired. And against the ominous backdrop of Donald Trump's re-election, the fate of climate progress hangs in the balance. It is increasingly clear that the question has become not about what to do, but how fast and who pays. Noting the famous prayer of St Augustine - "Lord make me good, but not yet" - our Founding Partner Barry Johnston reflects on the outcomes of COP29, arguing that the world is wrestling with its own overdue conversion: the switch from an addiction to fossil fuels to a greener, more sustainable future. 🏆 Our client Sanofi has received SIX award nominations for their initiative to rebuild trust in healthcare: #AMillionConversations. Our work with Sanofi is one of our proudest partnerships. Since 2021, we’ve worked together toward a vision of creating a more diverse and inclusive healthcare system. This culminated in the 2023 launch of A Million Conversations at the World Economic Forum in Davos. At its core, the initiative has a simple but powerful goal - to build trust in healthcare with underrepresented communities. Since its inception, Sanofi has empowered people to share stories of healthcare discrimination, provided scholarships to diverse future leaders, and championed policy changes aimed at making healthcare work for everyone, no matter their background. While we are thrilled that A Million Conversations has received so much recognition with these awards, what truly matters for us is raising awareness and amplifying the voices of those who have often felt unheard. So far, the initiative has won: 🏆 Reuters Sustainability Awards - Stakeholder Engagement Award 🏆 Global Good Awards - One to Watch Award And been nominated for: 🌟 The Drum Awards for Social Purpose 🌟 Anthem Awards 🌟 Personnel Today Awards 🌟 European Diversity Awards Congratulations and thank you to our partners at Sanofi, and to everyone who has lent their voice and passion to the A Million Conversations initiative. #HealthEquity #AwardNominations #DiversityAndInclusion #ReutersSustainabilityAwards #GlobalGoodAwards #EuropeanDiversityAwards #TheDrumAwards #AnthemAwards #PersonnelTodayAwards The Anthem Awards The Drum Léa Futschik Christelle Foucault Raj Verma Sean Yap Marcia Goraieb (She/Her) Image: Arrener Bispo, Sanofi NextGen Scholar

Is the world prepared for Gen Z's climate reality check? As #COP29 unfolds in #Baku, governments and business leaders are gathering to find solutions to the increasingly urgent climate crisis. But the voice of Gen Z also carries weight. Our 2024 Purpose Pulse polling finds that 57% of Gen Z don't think business is doing enough to tackle climate change and 64% believe that governments should be setting more ambitious climate targets. Our intern Blessing Lobho uncovers more of our Purpose Pulse insights and sets out Gen Z's expectations when it comes to addressing climate change.
