Transport Secretary Louise Haigh MP recently announced the government’s intentions to update outdated laws, making it legal for private e-scooters to join Britain’s roads. “I believe we’ll soon see the law modernized to allow electric scooters to be ridden legally on UK streets. In my discussions with the new government, it’s clear they are committed to moving swiftly on meaningful changes to improve life in Britain,” Adam Norris CEO of PURE ELECTRIC, Britain’s leading electric scooter company shared. This step is particularly important in making UK streets safer and more accessible for women.
