Drumroll please...🥁   We're thrilled to share we're bringing our famous American to America in 2025! 🍕🌎   That's right, from Soho to Singapore and now to the States, we'll be opening our first pizzeria in the US in Florida next year! This exciting news builds on our mission to reach our pizza fans no matter where they are, with our ambition to reach 1,000 restaurants globally (including the UK) by 2030. 🙌   We're delighted to be partnering with Purple Square Management Co, a leading US franchisee founded in Tampa, Florida, to give pizza fans Dough Balls on demand, Margaritas with Margheritas or a Peroni with a Padana.    Stay tuned to hear more on the first location! ✨   A big shout out to our international team behind this news, including Chief Development Officer Chris Holmes and Head of Franchise Ben Lawrence 👏

We are on the countdown to Christmas. The festive season is when our pizzerias truly come into their own, full of sparkle and showtime, no matter what the occasion. Cue the launch of our Press for Showtime series, bringing free live entertainment to our pizzerias this December 🎄. As the home of celebrations, last week we welcomed the insanely talented Rag'n'Bone Man to our iconic PizzaExpress Live stage in Soho to kick off the series. 😮💨🎶 Vocals as smooth as (garlic) butter and a stage presence like no other, it was really a night to remember! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎵🎄 The rumours are true - everyone's favourite, Snowball Dough Balls are back. 😍 Thanks to the innovative work from our incredible Food team Jane Treasure, Victoria Johnston, Antenor Siqueira, Mike Bithell, Kate Beall (ANutr), Rhys Mathieson and Steph Archer, we are going even bigger this year with a whole host of delicious dishes, from Dough Balls in Blankets, to our Romana Christmas Feast (think Christmas dinner on a pizza 😋), Romana Figgy Formaggi (white wine marinated figs on a pizza? Sign us up!), a Romana Mushroom & Truffle, and Festive Sprouts. But the true star of the show? This month at PizzaExpress HQ we were thrilled to hear first hand from the successful applicants of our School and College Leavers Academy. They have joined us on a three-year programme as they grow their career from entry-level Shift Managers to budding General Managers. ✅   But that's not all - they'll also gain a fully-funded degree qualification at the same time. Something close to our hearts at PizzaExpress is our Long Service Award Programme. Our people are what makes us the PizzaExpress you know and love, so this month, we took a moment to celebrate our long servers who have worked at PizzaExpress for a sterling 25 years. Martinis were sipped and Dough Balls were dipped with the magical lights of London sparkling behind us at our London Bankside pizzeria as we thanked our team members for their dedicated service. 💫👏 There are three things we are obsessed with at PizzaExpress – great tasting pizza, memorable experiences and arguably the most important, our amazing team who have been with us for a quarter of a century.  Our favourite part of the evening? Hearing our team share some of their memories from the past 25 years... in fact, our Aberdeen General Manager Caroline Sheils, who started with us back in 1999, shared her memories of serving famed designer Jeff Banks and being known as her local area's 'Pizza Lady'... but her proudest moment? So it was great to see our industry-leading PizzaExpress Club loyalty scheme take centre stage at this week's MCA Insight - Leaders in Eating & Drinking Out Market Insight's HOSTECH Conference where our Chief Digital & Technology Officer Arslan Sharif spoke about how we’ve innovated over the past three years to deliver an epic loyalty programme (free PizzaExpress menu items every time you dine, anyone? 🙌).  Arslan said of speaking at HOSTECH, "Thank you to MCA for hosting an insightful event. It was a pleasure to speak with my fellow panellists about progress in the industry and hearing all the speakers talk about Digital, Tech, AI, Data & Loyalty. It was great to share the amazing progress we’ve made at PizzaExpress in creating an omnichannel experience with our Club app for our most loyal customers.”   Two of the things we love most combined: seeing our people speak so passionately about their work at PizzaExpress and offering tasty rewards every time you dine with us 🍕📱.
