Empowering Patients in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Exciting news! Valentina Strammiello, EPF Director of Strategic Initiatives, will represent us at the ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research Europe 2024 conference, from November 17th to 20th in Barcelona, Spain. Our collaborative initiative, in partnership with OPEN Health and EAMDA, will be showcased as a poster. This initiative focuses on testing consensus methods for PICO scoping within HTAR. Our objectives include: 🔹 Enhancing scientific validity and transparency. 🔹 Ensuring structured and consistent patient engagement. 🔹 Fostering cross-border collaboration. We used the Delphi methodology as a case study for building consensus, and the results highlight the significant impact of patient involvement in shaping HTA processes. A heartfelt thank you to all the organisations involved and to our colleagues attending the event.
