Last night, we hosted our Annual Charity Celebration and General Meeting, bringing together our team and valued stakeholders to reflect on the incredible achievements of the past year. This special evening marked the first AGM with Hayley Austin as General Manager, and it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our progress and build on our shared commitment to Kirklees. In the past year, we’ve distributed an incredible £1.7 million in grant funding to 388 community groups and charities across Kirklees. A special thank you to three of these organisations— 💜 Forget Me Not Children's Hospice 🧘♀️ Umbrella Yoga CIC 🌈 Rainbow Baby Bank —who shared their powerful stories about how these grants have positively impacted their beneficiaries. Here’s to creating even more positive change in 2025! 🙌 #OneCommunityKirklees #MakingADifference #KirkleesCharity #StrongerTogether #AGM2025

🌳 It's National Tree Week! 🌳 We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of the amazing projects we’ve supported in Dewsbury Moor, led by the fantastic team at Transformers North. They’ve been hard at work, with residents, transforming Moorcroft Community Garden, taking care of the trees and green space to create something truly special. Right now, Dewsbury Moor doesn’t have an outdoor space quite like this. But that’s about to change! 🌱 Once completed, Moorcroft Community Garden will be a welcoming space where local residents can come together to play, explore, and connect with nature. Plus, it will offer vital food-growing support to help the community thrive. 💚 #NationalTreeWeek #CommunityGarden #DewsburyMoor #GreenSpaces #TogetherForNature
