The AITO Kickstart Conference 2025 was a fantastic way to kick off the year and Oasis Travel were delighted to be one of just three agencies to be awarded Gold Agent status in the 2024 Excellence Awards. The event took place at Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland | Formerly Jurys Inn at Hinkley Island and was the largest gathering since before the pandemic with a great range of travel agents, tour operators and other business partners able to network and share ideas in a fun and engaging couple of days. In the lead up to Christmas some of the Oasis Travel team were lucky enough to take part in the incredible 'Snowmobile Voyager' experience in Finnish Lapland courtesy of our friends at Transun Travel Ltd. The group had an amazing time on a 3 night visit to this stunning destination and were lucky enough to participate in an exciting array of Arctic adventures. They flew direct from Belfast International Airport and stayed in the newly opened sumptuous retreat that is the Hotel Rakka. A huge thank you to Dino Toouli and all the team at Transun Travel Ltd for allowing our team to experience this snowmobiling showcase first hand. Over 250 travel agents (including Oasis Travel) enjoyed a truly unforgettable experience at the recent Jingle Bell BOP (Big Orange Party) hosted by the incredible team from easyJet holidays. The event took place in the hugely impressive Hilton at St George’s Park, Midlands Conference Venue which is located in the home to all 23 of England's national football teams, St. George's Park. During the day a fantastic supplier showcase allowed the travel agents in attendance to engage with an amazing group of hotel partners from across Europe and North Africa, whilst the evening was a festive celebration that will last long in the memory. There was something for everyone including a range of food vendors set up Christmas market style, an ice skating rink, some amazing live music in the Oktoberfest inspired beer hall, stilt walkers, amusement games, competitions and so much more. What an amazing few days at the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays VIP Travel Agents Conference held at the magnificent Constantinou Bros Hotels in Paphos, Cyprus. Briege and Brendan from Oasis Travel along with a host of other travel agents and suppliers spent a glorious time enjoying the fantastic agenda laid on by Jet2. With everything from a range of informative, inspiring and thought provoking conference sessions, to a fancy dress party, gala awards dinner, music festival afternoon and a spectacular Christmas celebration the event was a huge success and a lot of fun. The theme was based around the Jet2 'Time Machine' and was employed to allow all the attendees to look back at past success and also into the future for many more great ideas and growth. What an absolutely amazing few days for the Oasis Travel team in Spain. We started with a night in the beautiful and vibrant city of Málaga staying at the wonderful H10 Hotels Croma Málaga and being treated to many of the cities hidden gems in the company of roma carnegie. The group then spent the next 2 nights in the stunning Ikos Andalusia located between Marbella and Estepona. This breath taking property provides the next level of luxury all-inclusive beach holiday and left a huge lasting impression on the Oasis Travel team.
