    𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀! 🎄 🎉   Earlier this year, we produced fully synthetic pDNA which was successfully cloned into cells. Now, we’ve taken this a step further and 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗡𝗔 (𝗺𝗰𝗗𝗡𝗔). mcDNA has a higher efficiency, better stability and improved safety compared to pDNA.   Using our enzymatic technology, we have produced a 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝟭.𝟯𝗸𝗯 𝗺𝗰𝗗𝗡𝗔 𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝟭𝟱𝟬𝗯𝗽 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝘆-𝗔 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭% 𝗺𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.   • Following on from our recent post about our new NB3 system, we are delighted to share yet another milestone which takes us a step closer to the launch of a new product.   Out talented team have successfully produced batches of up to 1mg of pure poly-A tails with lengths ranging from 50bp to 150bp.   Although this was a proof of concept, we're now looking forward to testing this sequence in NB3, capable of producing 40mg of DNA in just 80 minutes, to continue pushing the limits of what we can do.   And that's not all! We are also working on doubling our maximum poly-A length, aiming to reach 300bp or higher in 2025 using our groundbreaking and patented 'NanoRobots' technology.   Early next year we plan to launch our long, pure poly-A tails as a product. They will be offered at up to mg-scale with 150bp custom adapters available at either the 5’ end, the 3’ end or both.   We will produce sequences that nobody else offers, at scales not seen before for poly-A.     I don't often post on LinkedIn, but recent events have prompted me to share some exciting news.   I'm thrilled to introduce NB-3, our groundbreaking solution for synthetic DNA. NB-3 can rapidly synthesise long, complex DNA sequences at mg-scale.   Some highlights: - Producing 40mg of linear DNA in just 80 minutes per batch - Scaling up ds linear sequences from 15bp to 1kb, including a 150bp polyA tail - Only ng of DNA as starting material. The regenerative reaction means the next iteration will use a continuous process which could run for 24/7 - Featuring single-use parts with a 20-minute changeover between batches - Designed for scalability – stackable and can be daisy chained at a very affordable cost – less than the price of an iPhone!   If you're interested in learning more about NB-3 or NunaBio Limited, feel free to reach out.   • Endotoxin clearance is critical for patient safety for drugs made using gram-negative bacteria, like E.coli. However, the gold standard limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) test is made using the blood of the horseshoe crab. Over 700,000 horseshoe crabs are harvested per year for this purpose, and it is estimated that up to 30% die in the process. Populations of this crab are declining for several reasons, so a new approach is required. New technologies for DNA synthesis and amplification have the potential to completely remove the need for E.coli and the risk of endotoxin contamination. NunaBio Limited is proud that its technology is sustainable - we just didn't realise it was good for crab populations too! #horseshoecrabs #endotoxinfree
