What an amazing evening at the Global Student Living awards 😍 It was great to celebrate the best that student accommodation has to offer and Novel Student are proud to have taken home the trophy for Best Value for Money (Europe) 🏆🎉 Given that these awards are based solely on the feedback of those who matter most, our residents, this win means a great deal. Thank you to our students who voted as well as our incredible staff within our residences. These nominations and awards would not have been possible without the incredible work they put in day in, day out.  Thanks to Global Student Living and their team for putting on a memorable evening. We've been nominated for 3 Best In Class Awards by The Class Foundation! We’re thrilled to have been nominated, not just for our property but for our people too! Take a look below to learn more about each of our awards. 🏆Best Student Housing Design – Bottleworks, Cork Our newest residence Bottleworks, Cork has been nominated for its innovative design, with a focus on wellness, work, and play, the property features numerous social spaces, biophilic design, and sustainability initiatives designed to enhanced student well-being. 🏆Best Student Housing Property – Soto House, Pamplona Soto House is nominated for its modern design, community-focused programs, and supportive environment, blending academic and social growth in Pamplona. 🏆 Best Young Talent – Linzzie Wallace Linzzie has been nominated for her exceptional leadership in sustainability, driving initiatives like energy-saving campaigns, and ethical supplier partnerships, while inspiring her peers and transforming operational efficiency through her innovative contributions. 🌍 World Mental Health Day 2024: Mental Health in the Workplace 🌿 At Novel Student, we believe that a thriving workplace starts with supporting mental well-being. As this year's theme for World Mental Health Day centres around mental health in the workplace, we're taking a moment to reflect on the steps we take to create a supportive environment for our team 💚 We’re proud to offer flexible working options, allowing our colleagues to balance their professional and personal lives contributing to a healthier work-life balance. Regular social events, like our pizza days and taco evenings, and our company wide step-count challenge initiated by our Culture Committee provide opportunities for connection and stress relief. Through our Employee Assistance Program, employees have access to professional therapists, as well as advice on a range of life and work-related issues, helping to address both personal and professional challenges. Outside of this, our employees also have access to carefully curated wellness toolkits, which include resources to support physical, mental, and emotional health. It’s been a busy month for Novel, with not just one, but two topping out celebrations 🎉   Earlier in September, we were in Leeds for the topping out of our project, Threadworks, and this week we celebrated the topping out of The Artisan, our newest student residence in Dublin.   The Artisan, also welcoming students for the 2025/26 academic year, will feature 249 rooms and 9 fantastic amenity spacings to support students in every aspect of university life.   Thanks to George Salisbury Bsc (Hons) MRICS, Sinéad Joyce MRICS MRTPI, Neil Bryne and William Davison for being a part of this momentous event and to GEM Construction, Lafferty, Harrison Street and DLC Europe who we’re working in partnership with to bring this incredible residence in the heart of Dublin to life!   If you missed it, click here to read more about our time in Leeds: https://lnkd.in/ex6y2Wkw   #PBSA #StudentAccommodation #Dublin #ToppingOut
