𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 - 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱? After wasting countless hours as a teenager on Facebook, and then being shocked by the Cambridge Analytica scandal, I shut down all social media a long time ago. I had no intention of going back, until Ishaaq Qureshi (Growth Lead at Niyyah), started to show me how social media can be a force for good. In about 6 months, he’s 10x’d our social media at Niyyah from 5k to >50k, and has multiple videos hitting >1 million views, alhamdulillah. Even if social media is often a toxic waste of time, it certainly has merits, and our hope is that the mix of fun and educational content we share can benefit millions. I’m still convinced that social media is a net negative overall - but am certainly open to being convinced otherwise! Which side are you on? Niyyah Ishaaq Qureshi Sohaib Ashraf Muhammad Abu T. 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘆𝗸𝗵 🤔 Probably not, and I wouldn’t trust one fully either - but let’s see what GPT5 has in store for us… With ever more advanced tools emerging to help Muslims learn about their faith, I’m optimistic about the role that AI has to play in faith education. Given that millions of Muslims turn to unverified platforms such as Reddit for answers to questions, I believe that AI solutions with vetted sources can offer a positive step forward for our community, insha’Allah. At Niyyah , we’re testing out the idea of AI-powered hints and explanations for our quizzes. Here’s a sneak peak of what we have planned in the roadmap :eyes: This is just one of many more features we have planned, and if you want to be amongst the first to learn more and try these out, you can join our new Niyyah WhatsApp community using the link in the comments below!

𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 + 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟬 = $𝟱𝗕 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄. A few months ago, I wrote about the rise of trillion-dollar companies. With SSI's recent funding round, it's clear that company valuations are reaching greater heights, with pre-revenue companies setting new records. It's easy to get caught up in the hype cycle, and I'd love to hear how other founders are thinking about this. Here's our approach at Niyyah: 📌 Focus on the fundamentals: Amid sky-high valuations for AI-driven companies, we remain laser-focused on our mission, building a company with strong fundamentals. AI will often have a role to play in addressing the real problems and needs of our users, but not always 📌 Partner with the best: We've been fortunate to connect with and learn from the emerging leaders in this space, not least Waleed Kadous and his amazing Ansari.chat. With so many relevant use cases, this is a great opportunity to partner and learn from each other  📌Test, validate, and iterate to find the boundaries: Once we've identified user needs and built hypotheses, we focus on deep user testing before fully committing to new AI features. It's going to take a while for our users to build trust in AI, especially given the sensitive nature of our content, and the boundaries of this become clearer with every user call we have.Want to be part of this journey and help shape Niyyah's roadmap? What will the 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 say about you? 🤔 (45 second read) Today, we focus on Surah Al-Zalzalah and more importantly, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮.    This powerful surah underscores the importance of 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 of our actions, whether small or (seemingly) insignificant. This is outlined in the following verses:  فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ ٧ So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it. وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ ٨ And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it. 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐀𝐥-𝐙𝐚𝐥𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐲.   The Earth will also be a witness to our deeds and will testify to what we have done upon it! يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ٤ on that Day the earth will recount everything, بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا ٥ having been inspired by your Lord ˹to do so˺. 𝐍𝐨𝐰, 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟: What will the earth say about you? Will it be a witness for you or against you? Want to access and understand the rest of this Surah? 👇 We've just released the full explanation via the Surah Al-Zalzalah quiz on our '𝐍𝐢𝐲𝐲𝐚𝐡' 𝐀𝐩𝐩 👀 Shinaz Navas Ishaaq Qureshi Is'Haaq Jasat Bilal Ajadi Halima Abubakar Areeb Siddiqui Arfah Farooq 🇵🇸 Rabii Malik Daniel Ahmed Azim Kidwai Muhammed Yesilhark Talha Yesilhark Ahmet KAYHAN Ibrahim Khan Sohaib Ashraf Mohsin Patel Ibrahim Alkurd Saqib Awan Rahim El-Allouchi Sahel Mughal Halima Abubakar FARID Faraz

𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫? 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 ✈️ In the space of a few years, the calibre of Muslim entrepreneurship has skyrocketed. When I was at the drawing board with Niyyah, the landscape was completely different - with only a handful of people building a few things… But last weekend at Muslim Tech Fest there were over 1,000 people getting together to connect, celebrate and grow. It really showed the breadth of Muslim talent and how far we’ve come as a community, Alhamdulillah. The panels, firesides, and networking sessions were brilliant - especially with inspiring talks from the founders of Onfido, detailing their journey to a $650m exit earlier this year! Not to mention the awesome early traction seen by Adil Abbuthalha and Boycat. So if you want to build something, now is the best time to start. With awesome early-stage investors emerging in this space like Azim Kidwai and the team at Collective Continuum, this space is growing faster than ever before 🚀 Kicking around a startup idea as a Muslim founder? The Rafah tent massacre has left almost 100 people dead. As horrific as that sounds, this number pales in comparison with the >35,000 that have been killed, including >15,000 children. If you've seen the recent uproar over Rafah, this is just a sign of the rising anger that you'd expect anyone to feel when >1 million people are suffering from man-made starvation while their homes are being razed to the ground. The area in Rafah was a declared safezone for Palestinians. When the attack took place, many had just finished night prayers, some were asleep and others were simply with their families. One survivour, Layan al-Fayoum recounted, “We were sitting down in peace when we suddenly heard the explosion.” The images and videos coming out of Rafah are absolutely harrowing. This level of indiscriminate bombing can never be justified. We need a permanent ceasefire now. And we should not remain silent about it. Share the stories, support humanitarian efforts and keep the victims in your prayers. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡-𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞? 🎯 Since jumping into the faith-tech space (almost 2 years ago now!), I’ve had the pleasure of engaging with individuals building incredible ventures. From Islamic finance to education and more, I’ve come to realise how big our propensity for good is - how much support is out there from my fellow Muslims - and how rapidly this space is growing each day 🚀 Platforms like MuslimHub, events like Muslim Tech Fest , and communities such as Deen Developers play an important role in this ecosystem by bringing attention to the innovations being created. Together, we are well on our way to building a robust ecosystem where our values are at the forefront of our lives. I'm incredibly proud of the Niyyah team for being part of this dynamic space, and I'm super excited to see what the future holds as we continue to innovate, collaborate, and thrive together. Shout out Collective Continuum for pioneering in this space! Are you working on something cool in the faith-tech space? Let’s connect!
