As 2024 comes to a close, we enjoyed our annual Christmas lunch (a lot more civalised than our Christmas night out!) Niamh and Natalie from our (Business Development Team) hosted our Crimbo Bingo in our Glasgow Head Office for a great cause ‘Doing it for Daniel’ Catering was provided by our very own Tam’s mum. What a spread she put on for us on this special occasion. Everything home made, from the samosas and pakora to the delicious dips! We were delighted today to welcome to our head office, Graham Simpson MSP, the Convenor of the Scottish Parliament Tenement Maintenance Working Group. The working group is a diverse body of qualified professionals and stakeholders dedicated to devising recommendations to The Scottish Parliament to improve the condition of the Scottish Tenement Housing Stock. Graham is the convenor and chair of the group who are consulting on measures such as regular building inspections, compulsory owners associations and the establishment of building reserve funds. Graham, pictured here with our CEO Vincent Goldie, received a guided tour of our offices and spoke with all of our department heads to gain more insight into the life of a factor and the ongoing challenges of providing a top-quality service.
