We were delighted to welcome Manchester High School for Girls, Withington Girls' School, and Foundation 92 to take part in our community sessions in last week’s event 🎾 ✨   These sessions are a key part of our event and a way for us to leave a positive mark on the local area, using our significant media coverage (in this case including Sky News, ITV and Sport Bible) to highlight the great work being done by these organisations and the ability of padel to transform lives 🙌   The delight that the girls from both schools showed was palpable and we are convinced there are one or two future Tia Nortons or Aimee Gibsons in there! It was great to have the immediate support of ex pro footballer Lindsay Johnson in arranging the groups 🌟   Foundation 92 was established by ex-Manchester United players and are the official charity partner of Salford City FC. They improve the lives of communities through sport, education and bespoke projects. On this occasion they brought a group of clients from their Achieve programme, which supports individuals recovering from substance addiction. It was incredible to get them on court and see their genuine enjoyment from trying a new sport 🤩   As part of our long-term commitment to equal opportunities within the sport, we’re looking to broker discounted or free court space for these organisations at our participating partner clubs – allowing individuals to continue with their padel journey long after we have departed 💪   We love to spread the joy of padel wherever we go. We’re continually looking for new charity, community and education partners, so please do keep an eye on our 2025 dates as we’d love to connect with you and involve you in our sessions 👀   Thanks also to Steve Yeardley and LTA for supporting and delivering this part of the schedule 🙏 #ProAmPadelTour #Padel #LTA CUPRA UK Certina NOX Sport NEO WTR Graham Beck High Water Pure Padel UK

  • Today is Oceans of Plastic Day, designed to raise awareness globally of the critical plastic waste issue that the ocean is currently experiencing. We are here to inspire change and bring about a more sustainable solution. By using recycled ocean-bound plastic in our bottles, we are removing discarded plastic from the environment, preventing it from reaching the ocean, reducing the need for new plastic to be produced and reducing carbon emissions in the process. Let's all work to make waves of positive change.

  • 3rd November is World Basking Shark Day! 🦈💙 Did you know that these gentle giants travel across the Atlantic to UK waters every year? With hotspots like the Isle of Skye and Cornwall, the UK becomes a summer home to over 20,000 basking sharks.  Despite being heavily protected, basking sharks face dangers from entanglement, boat strikes, and harassment. As an endangered species, they need our support to survive and thrive. Together, we can help raise awareness for these magnificent creatures!  #WorldBaskingSharkDay #ProtectOurOceans #NEOWTR #SaveTheSharks
