🌟 Meet the Team - Finance Edition! 🌟 Wondering what our finance team get up to? We caught up with our fab four Kris Fitzwater, Stanley Phipps, Yuanjun and Farheen to get to know them and their jobs better. 👇 ⭐What is the Finance team responsible for at MINISO? Within MINISO, we have a wide range of responsibilities, some generic financial duties, such as management accounting and financial reporting. For MINISO, we provide due diligence across all departments, including inventory controls, cashflow, budgeting and all business orientated KPIs. We are also the gate keepers for all revenue and costs, ensuring spend is within line with budget and income is managed accordingly, including invoicing and debtor management. 📈 ⭐What does an average day look like? There isn’t one! Everyday is different, one day we will be working on month end duties, the next we are working on AR. AP. Other days, focus is on cashflow management, moving into budgets and forecasting. Away from standardised duties, we also get involved in partnering with franchisees and internal stakeholders. ⭐ What are some of your team's favourite part of the job? Team culture. Everyone is willing to support one another! There is plenty of learning opportunities which makes each day a fresh challenge. The best part of part of the job? Finance is the only function that has 360 perspectives of the business. 🌏 ⭐ Tell us something your team loves about MINISO? Open door business! Having a direct impact on the growth of the business and having direct access to senior decision makers who give us the opportunity to be heard and apply our ideas. Also, MINISO is all about FUN! ⭐ Outside work – tell us about your team’s interests!
