I feel lucky that my career in tech has been able to grow in Glasgow. That short time that Arm set up shop in Glasgow was a pivotal point in my career. We need more companies like Malted AI to succeed so we can have more cool jobs in Scotland. Here's what I learnt about the company today. #AI #productmarketing #scottishtech

What a year for Malted AI! 2024 has been an incredible journey for us:  📈 Grew to a talented team of 20+  🖥️ Supported AI projects for top global companies 🧠  Expanded our R&D capacity, diving deeper into Generative AI for enterprise, leading to exciting enhancements to our platform. None of this would’ve been possible without our amazing team. To celebrate, we wrapped up the year with Christmas lights, darts, great food and even better company. Last week, we had a fantastic time at the Hoxton Ventures AGM—a great event filled with thought-provoking discussions about the future of AI and technology. Highlights from the event included: A panel discussion featuring our CEO, Iain Mackie, alongside Ben Peters, CEO of Cogna, and Liviu Dragan, CEO of Druid AI. They shared perspectives on driving enterprise ROI with AI and successfully transitioning from pilot projects to production. A fireside chat with Malted AI board members Bryan Gartner and Sandy Nairn, author of "Engines That Move Markets." Together, they explored the future of competitive moats in the AI industry. Hussein Kanji, founding partner at Hoxton Ventures, delivered an insightful market overview, covering the journey from seed startups to IPOs and the evolving dynamics in the AI landscape. Our Head of Design, Kris Fields, participated in the final Transform Meetup of 2024, sharing insights on the critical role of design in successfully implementing GenAI and sharing insights into enterprise use cases. The discussion delved into essential topics such as the guardrails required for AI, strategies to mitigate system hallucinations, and the importance of customising AI for complex, multistep tasks.
