    Today's headline on the BBC News app draws attention to women's untreated pain.... Today Bee Pahnke calls the industry to 'not give up on DEI&R' in her brilliant Campaign UK article... and Today Tom Roach in Marketing Week drills home why Today we need to wake up to and embrace the reality of marketing effectiveness being fulled by a myriad of smaller things... and so, it feels like Today is the perfect moment to share with you this talk from MAD//FEST, it's like a 'calling'! Why? It feels like a calling because 'The Gender Pain Gap', Nurofen's Effie UK and IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) award winning campaign, not only draws attention to women's suffering as a consequence of unconscious bias, the brand has taken active steps to make a genuine difference through lots of small but important and cohesive activities - a pain pass, unconscious bias training for pharmacists, content in GP surgeries, an annual report about the gender pain gap alongside a multi-channel advertising campaign. AND it's working for the brand. Connected creativity. As the our work with Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and the Unstereotype Alliance has shown inclusion = income, WHEN you get it right. Sharing this story on stage with the truly brilliant Efrain Ayala is a highlight of my year. The room was packed and buzzing. It's a success story that Insights by Kantar are proud to have played a key role in. A success story that everyone will benefit from learning more about and engaging with.
