Recent successes include the refurbishment of Christchurch Gardens in Victoria and the momentum built around the transformation of Strand Aldwych. Both projects, pioneered by the BIDs, demonstrate the importance of high quality public spaces and the powerful force for good that public / private collaboration can be.

The dazzling display, featuring magical fairies, pays tribute to The Savoy Theatre's historic moment in 1882, when performers wore the world’s first fairy lights in their skirts on the opening night of Iolanthe. The Victoria BID Proposal was officially launched this week at BAM Karaoke Box 💫 Seeking support for a fourth term, running from 2025 to 2030, the proposal outlines key goals, including the creation of a more environmentally sustainable district that champions adaptation and decarbonisation initiatives aligned with the City of Westminster's net-zero objectives. These goals build on 15 years of transformation in the area, which has seen £4 billion in investment and a 51% increase in employment since 2011.
