Councillor Katherine Dunne, Hounslow Council Cabinet Member for Climate, Environment and Transport, has commented on the letter issued to dockless e-bike operators asking for their commitment to work alongside London’s councils and Transport for London to keep London’s streets safe from poorly parked e-bikes. Councillor Dunne said: “Hounslow Council fully supports the letter issued to dockless e-bike operators from Councillor Kieron Williams, London Councils Executive Member for Climate, Transport and Environment and Will Norman, Walking and Cycling Commissioner. We also welcome the commitment from Government in the English Devolution White Paper to introducing new micro-mobility powers to address the issues being caused by problematic parking of e-bikes and e-scooters, which we have lobbied for individually and through London Councils. “We remain committed to making the e-bike rental scheme work in Hounslow and promoting responsible parking as part of our Kerbside Strategy.”

Loveth, now a deputy manager at Certitude, began her career as a cleaner. A joint operation between Hounslow Council and the Metropolitan Police took place last week to crack down on fly-tipping in Chiswick. During the operation, the enforcement team stopped vehicles and checked waste carrier licences. Boston Manor House won Heritage Project of the Year at the Architectural Journal Awards last week. Following our careful restoration with help from the excellent architects at Purcell. Our six-year renovation project led to Historic England removing the house from the heritage at-risk register in 2023. Boston Manor House now welcomes local people free of charge, six-days a week. It hosts fun, creative workshops, walking groups, costumed tours and a toddler group. The house also provides space for local students and an arts organisation to grow and thrive.
