🎄🙏🎄Thank you to all the amazing health workers making sure people are cared for over the holidays 🎄🙏🎄 Marie and Margaret are working to respond to people experiencing a mental health crisis during Christmas Day as Approved Mental Health Professionals. This involves taking telephone calls, giving advice, and carrying out assessments under the Mental Health Act to ensure that people receive appropriate support and are safe. Karen, Piotr, Jane, Gisia, Zoie and Kora with Santa are caring for patients in the Short Term Care Centre. This is for people who need a period of rehabilitation following a hospital stay or for people who need extra support to prevent going into hospital. Sara, Abi, Karl, Simon, Matthew, Scot, Tom and Patricia from First Response who answer calls to the NHS111 mental health crisis line. #Health #MentalHealth #NHS

So proud of everyone who worked together to keep Plymouth safe ❤️
📣 We held an event this week for the 30 organisations who helped in the operation to remove the bomb in Keyham earlier this year. Hosted by the Plymouth Lord Mayor and Devon and Cornwall Police, representatives from a host of organisations came along to the Life Centre for a big thank you! Organisations included the Royal Navy, Livewell Southwest, Plymouth Community Homes, the British Red Cross, and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Not to mention the dozens of businesses that helped repair the gardens of the properties most impacted, when the bomb was removed. Many of the people who gave up their time during the operation were volunteers. We want to make sure that they know the people of Plymouth appreciate everything they do! 💗
