Women supporting women 🫶🏻 Friday night saw the launch of Black Wings UK, a community for Black women within Rewriting the Code. MC Emma Unuode set the high energy levels and this continued all evening for what was a truly inspiring event. To quote Kristin Austin, Ed.D. 'A story of resilience & strength' ✨️ Huge well done to everyone involved in pulling this launch together, especially Blessing Adogame 🚀 Saturday then saw HuddleHive 🐝 JumpStart Hackathon come to life with the support of some very familiar faces, Emma Britnor & Rhea Sam. Crazy how much our lives have changed since meeting at Athena Hack all those years ago, but so grateful for the friendship we've built over the years. Life can be challenging, but the support of your friends and community can really go a long way. I have been having such a great time working on our project for the HuddleHive 🐝 JumpStart Hackathon . It has been such a cool event so far and I’m really looking forward to showing off our MVP (minimum viable prototype) today.
