  • It was an absolute pleasure working with ViDesigns on our revamped website! Beyond their outstanding design and coding skills, the team were exceptional listeners who helped us tackle three key challenges: 💬 Crafting a contemporary, clean look while staying true to our bold, PPE-inspired brand colours 💬 Developing our distinctive visual style without any stock photos and icons 💬 Making our value proposition crystal clear through both words and design The result? A website our team is truly proud of! It's simple, straightforward and interactive – designed so all our users, from office to site, can see themselves using the Gather record management system. Thank you Vimalan Vijayasekaran, Andrew Freelander and Luca Defreitas-Hansen for bringing such creativity and dedication to refreshing our website! We can't wait to work with you on future campaigns 🤝

  • ✅ “Gather has put everything in one place for us” Introducing new tech doesn’t need to make things more complicated or divisive. Amey’s successful delivery of the Brent Cross siding project showed how records can bring together different depots and teams. By implementing Gather as their digital site record management system, Amey have achieved: ⏳ Over 10 hours saved per week on recording 🤖 2,000+ site records captured digitally 🐝 30 different depots tracked simultaneously 📏 Rail Method of Measurement(RMM) tracking automated The shift to paperless record keeping hasn't just boosted Amey’s productivity. It’s enhanced collaboration between site and office teams whilst supporting our environmental commitments. Project Manager, Marianna Wotton, puts it perfectly: "Gather provides an opportunity to review project details in real time. It also promotes collaboration between the office staff and the site staff.” 👉 Read the full case study https://lnkd.in/eekdRkiY

  • What's your top tip for streamlining project spend? 👂

Why do so many construction projects bleed cash? Margins are tight, and it doesn’t take much—delays, untracked variations, idle resources—for costs to spiral out of control. The worst part? Most contractors don’t even realise how much they’re losing until it’s too late. It’s not just about the money. Shrinking profits mean tighter cash flow, stressed teams, and lost opportunities for growth. So here’s the big question: How much are you losing on every project—and what’s it costing your business?

Stop paying £50k a year for someone to update a spreadsheet. QSs are wizards with Excel (and some love it way too much), but that’s not what you hired them for. They’re there to solve problems, manage contracts, and make sure you get paid—not spend half their day copying numbers between tabs. Give them tools that cut the admin and let them focus on what they’re great at. Because spreadsheets don’t solve disputes or win you money—but a good QS does.

  • We had a brilliant time at NEC People North 2024 yesterday! Here are the key takeaways from the outstanding speakers: ❗ Rob Horne reminded us not to take contract language at face value - even seemingly simple requirements need careful interpretation. 💭 Jon Broome tackled the balancing act between governance best practices and practical contract management. ☔ Fascinating facts and solutions from EHAB on using modern tech to create realistic, well-thought-out programmes and schedules. 💯 Our Ben Walker shared some eye-opening industry stats - imagine the improvements if we treated commercial records with the same rigour as QHSE, using purpose-built solutions! ❓ Brilliant point from our engaged audience: We pay for quality records - why not commercial ones? This was year two at the northern edition. The conference just keeps getting better - fantastic turnout and engaging discussions. 👏 Huge thanks to Glenn and Neil for organising. Looking forward to the London event on 15 June 2025! 📅
