Approximately 60% of children are not in school - one of the highest rates in the world - and lack of access puts them at risk for child labour, early marriage, and recruitment by armed groups. ❌ Which is unacceptable. Thank you for your help sharing this new role! Photo credit: Street Child, whose pilot programme in Somalia we've been funding, supporting 2,656 children, and with incredible literacy and numeracy results.
