FEC UK have been spreading the Christmas ✨ cheer ✨ this week with multiple events to support the community. ❄️ We joined DEX CONSTRUCTION LIMITED in donating selection boxes and board games to Alex Reed at Manchester Communication Primary Academy to use during wet play. ❄️ FEC staff volunteered at the Shaw Centre's Christmas party in Red Bank to help celebrate the centre's work with adults who have learning disabilities. ❄️FEC staff attended East End Community Foundation's office to help them wrap presents and write cards for people who are isolated at Christmas. ❄️ FEC has funded Kylie's Kitchen in Collyhurst to provide the local care home with hot chocolate and festive bakes. A portion of the money will also be used to create Winter Warmer kits for the homeless on Christmas Eve. Last weekend saw Found host the Collyhurst Paint Jam 🖌️ Found teamed up with students from ManComAcademy and artists from across Manchester to bring the South Church Parade in Collyhurst alive! During the event there were also other activities the students could take part in to encourage their communication skills and help explore creativity! Join Found this Sunday as they host the Collyhurst Paint Jam 🎨 Found have teamed up with pupils from Manchester Communication Academy and local artists to create unique and powerful artwork that represents the past, present and future of Collyhurst, whilst creating a space that residents can be proud of. FEC was proud to host a Youth Employment Scheme (YES) Day this week with East End Community Foundation, supporting Fight for Peace! FEC is proud to be a founding patron of the EECF Life Chances Campaign. 🎉 The YES Day was focused on helping people enter the workplace and build confidence. The day featured fun activities such as Dragons’ Den, mock interviews, and networking.
