Changes to UCAS Personal Statements How applying to UK universities is changing   Last year, UCAS announced changes to the personal statement for students applying to UK universities for 2026 entry. Despite media claims that UCAS was “ditching” personal statements, this is not the case. Now, instead of a free-text format, students will respond to three structured questions designed to help them provide relevant and focused information about their suitability for their chosen course and university.
