Agility. At Greater Velocity

About us

Digiterre is a software and data engineering consultancy that enables technological and organisational transformation for many of the world’s leading organisations. We envisage, design and deliver software and data engineering solutions that users want, need and love to use. Our key insight after 20 years of solving enterprise-level, technology-related challenges, is that much of the technology that organisations have implemented in prior years, has primarily addressed the symptoms relating to pressing matters such as satisfying urgent client reporting or regulatory compliance requirements, which in turn has created a culture of ad hoc solutions which require high levels of manual oversight or data manipulation. This, in turn, limits the rate of digital adoption in the organisation and creates "friction" which is both costly and cumbersome, hampering innovation. The value that Digiterre brings to its clients is as follows: - the key insight that most of the significant challenges that enterprises face now, relate in some way to creating a single view of the truth across the many and varied data sources that exist inside and outside the organisation, - the realisation that most of the solutions to date, have concentrated on addressing only the symptoms and not the causes of these disparate data sources. - proven technology for solving these challenges quickly and cost-effectively, in a manner that scales with your organisation and builds in scope for future change - a pragmatic and highly agile way of creating the necessary levels of transformation developed over two decades of agile development and enterprise transformation, which seeks to engage a wide stakeholder community and to promote the transfer of knowledge and skills between the Digiterre and client teams, from the outset. We have worked with over 130 clients across banking, Asset Management and Energy & Commodities Traders across Americas, EMEA and AsiaPac.

  • At the FT Global Banking Summit near St Paul's today listening to a truly world class line up of speakers from across the sector. A common thread across panel discussions is the ubiquitous topic, AI. From its ability to achieve hyper personalisation for customers, focusing on spending patterns and interactions with the bank, help with cognitive load and the new wave of personal AI assistants, through to the dangers of hallucinations. In addition, discussion around the advantage gap between nimble neo banks vs incumbents as the latter begin to manage their Big data more effectively to improve customer insights. Fascinating day catching up with clients and contacts, with more to follow tomorrow. Ian O'Flaherty #Bankingtechnology #Tradingtechnology #softwareengineering

  • Just under a week until the FT Live Global Banking Summit (3-4 December). A chance to hear from the industry about current concerns, challenges, and opportunities - and unsurprisingly at the forefront of discussion will be the state of play of competing disruptive technologies - and the readiness to rollout AI (which presents the clearest business case for adoption). Why is it necessary to modernise legacy systems before realising the benefits of data-driven innovations? What can banks learn from different approaches to technological transformation? Looking forward to meeting with old contacts and new, and attending the inimitable panel sessions and keynotes. https://lnkd.in/gXpKqvg
