✨ #DigiFest well under way, we are looking forward to welcoming you to our satellite session #SkillsFest next week on Wednesday afternoon, 11th December at 2-4.15pm! ✨ Securing a future pipeline of talent to feed the needs of the #health and #socialcare sectors is a pertinent topic, and this starts with raising awareness and generating enough interested in young people to consider health and social care as a career option. Our panel will discuss the topic in terms of: 💡 what are the needs and opportunities for future talent in Scotland; 💡 what are different organisations doing to reach out to primary and secondary schools to raise awareness of career opportunities; and 💡 how are FE and HE institutions supporting the future pipeline of talent, once they have enrolled into these career paths. We have lineup of 13 fantastic speakers from Scottish Funding Council, NHS Grampian, Scottish Social Services Council, Skills Development Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland, Fife College, University of Dundee, Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre and a visiting #digitalhealth expert from Australia, Greg Moran, who will offer an international commentary on activities under way in Scotland.
