Thanks to Marjolein van der Krogt for a fantastic keynote and all the CMAS member labs who came to participate and represent their labs and the society at todays meeting. Lots of excitement, questions and networking
What an inspiring day at beautiful Keele University, discussing foot deformities in CP with a diverse group of experts from all over the UK! Thanks so much for the invite and opportunity to share some of our foot and ankle work! With Caroline Stewart, Julie Stebbins, Andrew Roberts, Erik Meilak, PhD, Fraser Philp and many others.
Last Friday saw our Annual November standards update day held in Birmingham. Thank you too all the Lab representatives wo attended and the standards committee who ran the day and continually seek to improve the standards processes for member laboratories and ultimately patients and their families. Looking ahead we have CMAS2025 being hosted at Oxford and can't wait to see you all there!

More excellent research from Clinical Movement Analysis Society of the UK and Ireland members. Congratulations to Jasmine Milnes and the CRC Central Remedial Clinic Gait Lab team
I am pleased to share that the paper written by myself and the Gait laboratory Team at the CRC titled "A clinical investigation of force plate drift error on predicted joint kinetics during gait" has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Biomechanics! This research aims to investigate what level of force plate drift error can occur before patients' kinetic data is affected and the paper questions whether the current error thresholds outlined in the manufacturer's guidelines are appropriate.
