We recognise the importance of leading by example, so are excited to announce that we have received a Silver Medal in our first submission to EcoVadis, the global independent assessor of corporate sustainability management systems. The achievement recognises a number of key steps in our own sustainability journey we have made in the last 12 months, including the completion of our first Group materiality assessment, validation of our emissions reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative, and the focus on our employee value proposition as a certified Great Place To Work UK.   Beyond our own submission, we have also supported several of our clients with EcoVadis throughout the year, achieving grades of Silver through to Platinum. We are one step closer to ISSB reporting in the UK (IFRS S1 and S2) today. ➡️ The UK Sustainability Disclosure Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has recommended the endorsement of both IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, inclusive of some minor amendments, as the basis of the UK Sustainability Reporting Standards. 📅 The next steps will be for The Secretary of State for Business and Trade to consider the TAC's recommendations; we expect a decision within the 1st half of 2025. Our team can assist with outlining obligations and implicaitions of adopting IFRS S1 and S2. ➡️ In broad-terms, the standards require forward-looking disclosures (targets and strategy) against key material sustainability issues, which may require plans to be developed.
