Tough old period in the Team Frank calendar. Five years ago over this couple of day period he had leg 1 surgery which was hands down, with hindsight, the worst for him pain wise. He subsequently had the same to leg 2. These were both at RNOH Stanmore. Four years ago he went into BCH for a lung surgery which didn’t go so well and turned into 3 subsequent lung surgeries seeing us in hospital for most of Dec. Reading the posts and comments from back then is just heartbreaking and everybody was so hopeful. Anyhoo. The last 3 pics are from Ed, Frank’s Dad, 5 years ago and demonstrates the validity and huge need - in our minds - to help people financially who are dealing with the childhood cancer sh*t show. (Frank’s Mum writing this, it really was a sh*t show! But the boy wonder made it all worth it ❤️❤️🩹❤️). #childhoodcancer #helping #kindness #kidsgetcancertoo #forever13 #cancersucks

One of our named funds Be More Frank have now raised a total of £200,000 to support young families facing childhood cancer. Frank's Mum Emma, set a goal of reaching £200k by the end of 2024, but the superb BMF team have gone and done it THIS WEEK!! Emma said: "Thank you thank you thank you sooooo much, this only happens because of YOU believing in who we are and what we do." Monies raised by the Hereford based fund support our financial grants which are issued to families upon receiving a diagnosis to help cover the additional costs a family faces throughout treatment and beyond.
