🌬️ Say hello to Aurora, our new wind turbine at our Perth office! 🌬️ We're thrilled to announce that Aviva’s Pitheavlis site in Perth has taken a significant step towards achieving Net Zero operations. This week, our wind turbine was officially opened by Amanda Blanc DBE, Group CEO of Aviva, and the Rt Hon John Swinney MSP, First Minister of Scotland. Named Aurora by the pupils of Viewlands Primary School in Perth, this wind turbine completes our renewable energy operation at Pitheavlis which is expected to deliver 100% of the site’s electricity demand, including electric vehicle charging. 🚗⚡ Our site will generate its own power through a combination of the wind turbine and 3,283 solar panels. The combined output is expected to deliver almost 3,000 megawatt hours annually, equivalent to the electricity required to power 1,090 UK homes for a year! 🏡💡 #ClimateReady

It was great to see a packed room at the Insurance Innovation Summit yesterday.
