We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a £17.5m development facility to Fiera Real Estate UK and Wrenbridge to assist the JV-partnership with the construction of Boxyard which will comprise 4x high-spec logistics units providing 84k sq ft of prime logistics space situated in Hayes. The Scheme will be targeting BREEAM Outstanding and an EPC A+ rating. This is the third deal we have assisted Fiera Real Estate with and look forward to continuing to support them with their active pipeline. Christopher Button, Head of Investment Management at Fiera, said: “We are delighted to bring forward this ESG exemplar logistics scheme which marks our third deal with Alpha in quick succession.” Mert Z., Head of Commercial Lending at Alpha, added: “It is great to be able to support Fiera with a third industrial development scheme within 18 months, and the second with their partner, Wrenbridge. There is strong demand for sustainable, Grade A urban logistics accommodation in the locality and we have already seen high levels of interest from prospective occupiers. The self-storage scheme will be targeting BREEAM Excellent, and will be Net Zero Carbon ready, providing high-quality self-storage accommodation in Loughton. This is the third self-storage asset that Alpha Property Lending are supporting EQT Exeter with, in the last 12 months. It is the people that I work with in the industry that makes doing what I do so enjoyable, many of whom I'm lucky enough to call friends. MIPIM is a full on week but getting the chance to spend quality time with some very special people in the industry is priceless.
