We're pleased to have recently advised software solutions start up Riven Group on sale of the business to NEC Software Solutions UK (NECSWS). Corporate partner Matt Noon led on the provision of legal advice, assisted by legal director Katy Oakes and apprentice solicitor Nick O'Shaughnessy. Riven has developed a suite of tools under the DocDefender brand that can automatically identify personal information for redaction and scan documents for hidden data. DocDefender is already used by nearly 50% of UK police forces, with Riven's acquisition into the NECSWS fold complementing the latter’s technology portfolio, particularly in the public safety sector.
